- Highlights of new fencing prodigy from recent Russian National Tournament in Moscow. Igor Kozhevnikov (Игорь Кожевников) has a very balanced style, his oppenents can’t do nothing against Igor’s stunning attacks (especially counters) and powerful ripostes. It looks so simple and yet very effective.

He might be the best in his category, but he should remember, that he was defeated by far more single-minded Samodelov!
I wonder how he’d perform in European tournaments (CCs), because I do think he looks relatively good, but his opponents are a bit outmatched tbh
I think he already fences as a fully formed junior. It is a pity that he doesn’t perform at world competitions
Great fencer but would need to see more, especially at a high level like worlds or cadet circuit to call him a genius
Yeah, I would also like to see him on the world stage. But Igor has already achieved a lot, so I think that I still didn’t overestimate his talent
Similar style to Nick Itkin.
16 yr old, so he was born on 2007? Check those real good fencers of year of 2007 in USA then you would know what talent/skill means.
You're right about everything bro. The current cadets there are many times faster
An overrated player. Not better
😅
