Great to see a normal bloke roughly showing how to do a job, Yes he was dropping things, and a bit clumsy like most of us but job done, thanks mate👍🏻

As a fellow Welshman, the automated captions on this gave me a good giggle. Thanks for the video. Inherited an ancient strimmer and this has done the trick, old line had perished.

You can also use the silicon lubricant spray to ease your new lines through the rubber tank bung. Most of the problems with filters are due to the E10 petrol. The 10%Ethanol in the petrol dissolves the fuel lines and some of the filter cages which gum up the works. E5 petrol is better, but the ethanol can still dissolve the lines but slower. Very useful video thanks.

Thanks for the video. I got a hedge trimmer and when I emptied the fuel a thing fell out. It was the filter that has a weight to make it drain fuel at any angle.
The pipes were breaking down. I took the fuel tank off and the grommet that holds the pipes AND used a caliper to get the pipe size. Now to find pipe.

Hi you remind of the great Tommy Cooper, he just couldn't do anything right, yet the people 😍 loved him. I must admit I enjoyed your presentation well done, at least you gave us a good laugh. Lived in North Wales for years colyn Bay. Worked on the a55. Great to hear that lovely Welsh accent again. Muchas gracias 😎 Liam kilkee clare ireland

I've got to change the fuel lines on my strimmer as I think one is split and causing it to suck in air. What fuel filters do you recommend.

    • @CalvinThomas05

Hi Hard worker. I use various types but I quite like this type. Try this link. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-pack-Fuel-Filter-Pick-Up-For-Husqvarna-50-51-55-61-268-272-XP-353-365-372-New/322562093938?hash=item4b1a32f372:g:8AoAAOSwSzRZShCp. Also the black and white ones and also the ones with like a steel cage around the filter. Heavier the better I think to flop about in the tank I reckon. Hope this info helps. Cheers Calvin

The outside diameter does not represent the correct size of line because it is the inside that assists to determines the amount of fuel you receive at the carburetor !
