I just fell for this scam. I’ll never ever give anything to anyone ever again because of him !!!!! It will be all I can do to stop myself from punching the next person that asks me for money in a parking lot. My days of trusting people is now gone forever.
Just got encountered by some dude while working with my step dad. He said he needed gas and my step dad offered him gas since he always has gas to fuel his equipment. He said that it wasn't enough gas and that he should just get some money in exchange for his 24 carat gold watch and rings, my step dad said no thank you and we got away from the scammer. I then searched up this scam to see if he really was a scammer and found this video. I'm so glad we trusted our instincts.
These are hilarious!! Lmao. Keep giving these people your money and keep the videos coming. Anyone that does this has to have been dropped on their head about 300 times when they were a baby. Who gives $130,000 worth of jewelry for $2500? It is almost your fault for being greedy.
This happened to me today off of 95 in NC. I had the feeling that this was bullshit but what made me angry about the situation is the man had his children in his car. Shameless.
I was at Walmart today and guy in a Mercedes immediately pulled up as I was getting my kids out. He acts distressed but thankful that I'm hearing him out and goes into some long sob story about his daughter getting beaten up and this,that, and the other. Im sitting there waiting for him to tell me what he wanted but he's yammering on and on about stuff I don't care about. My kid started crying and I told him I had to take care of him and he just drove off without even bothering to ask for a couple bucks or anything. He must be conditioned to run his full scam in the same format and if he's interrupted he'll just abort and look for a new victim.
People really fall for this? If the guy has all this valuable gold and a Rolex Watch he should go to the pawn shop himself. Besides you're not a road side service. If you want to help call the State Police for him.
I met one of these guys today. Wondering how a well-mannered, well-dressed foreign tourist doesn't have a cell phone or a wallet, and is out of gas. That's a whole lot of bad luck for one day.
I’ve gotten scammed like this. I was doing it out of kindness. Didn’t even want the guys jewelry although he insisted I take it anyway. Gave him $200 bucks. I still did not want the jewelry, was genuinely trying to help the guy. That made me never want to help anyone ever again.
Remember, you'll never see a millionaire, let alone a millionaire from Dubai, or an Arab millionaire caught dead in a situation like, period.
