    Can someone please tell me how to get brand approval for comfort colors shirts. This is like my 4th reply 😂😂 what do I put for manufacturer info and what package am I taking a photo of?? An order from my Printify store’s package (not sure how that would be needed to get comfort colors brand approved)…? Do I need to order a shirt from actual comfort colors…? Hellllpppppp 😂🙏

    Awesoem video Luca, Im new to channel but you explain things perfectly.
    1 question can you get GTINs removed from a listing if you are successful in getting a GTIN exception?

    • @LucaDavenport
      @LucaDavenport  Před 8 dny +1

      Good question! No, I don't think you can and to be honest, there would be no real reason to. GTINs don't bring any benefit to a listing

      @@LucaDavenport Cheers Luca mate, I have a friend that incorrectly entered the GTIN number 7 years ago. Amazon wont let them change it now and the listing is established in the marketplace.
      So my thinking was as they are a white label brand they can get GTIN exception and remove the incorrectly entered GTIN. Just a thought pal.
      Keep up the awesome work mate, love your content and the way you communicate it 🙏

    Is it possible to have a UPC exemption on a variation listing? The 'apply' button doesn't appear under the variations table so I can't get it to work (although it does seem to work for non-variation listings)

      You are right , i have exemption and tried to add a listing yesterday but it is askin barcode numbers for variations.

    • @LucaDavenport
      @LucaDavenport  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Yep but when you create a variation listing, you need to create all the child listings FIRST before the parent listing. Then when you are creating the parent listing it will initially ask you for a GTIN but when you select that the listing has variation, it will remove this requirement. Then when you are choosing the variations on the "variations" tab, you can just add the existing, already created child listings, by adding their ASIN. I am trying to get approved to sell comfort colors brand. I sell comfort colors tshirts via Printify so that is the brand I need approval for from Amazon right?? I just dont know what the frick to put for manufacturer info and what photos to upload for the packaging photos to complete the brand approval process?? If I order a sample from my own store it won’t be a package from “comfort colors”. And is comfort colors the manufacturer or is Printify? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

    • @LucaDavenport
      @LucaDavenport  Před 4 měsíci

      Branding needs to be "permanently affixed" so printed is fine but they normally won't accept a sticker or removable slip but you can always try. No harm in trying.

      @@LucaDavenport That would be great to find out for sure. I just got off the phone with Amazon seller support, trying to get a GTIN exemption. They walked me through setting up one product and they informed me I needed to do this per product. I was hoping it is per brand because it is really tedious and time consuming if it is per product. Any help figuring this out would be appreciated.

      I am trying to go through this process now myself too... what I believe is that they will give the exemption on the category, and therefore not per product. Would be a nightmare for us as we have over 4,000 products we want to list.@@sawsinmartinez8245

      @@sawsinmartinez8245 Exemption is provided for brand and category and you do not have to apply for exemption for each product. You will be able to add as many of your products on Amazon without applying for exemption again for that brand and category.
