Love your videos. Bought all 3 patterns and stocking up on some fabrics to try and make my own! I want you to continue making videos that’s why I support your lovely work :)
It’s so satisfying to watch your tutorial videos! I can’t believe how speedy you are with the darts. I need to mark the stitching lines when I make mine otherwise I will be very wonky! 🤣 I just wanted to add that I always sew my thin woven fabrics with French seams (including pockets and sleeves). I own an overlocker but I prefer that method as I think it looks nicer inside plus it encases the seams nicely. Both dresses are so beautiful. You’re very clever being able to design and pattern cut and grade your patterns 😊
So cool. Would love to see your take on the wrap pinafore from The Queen's Gambit. You'd totally rock that.
Just bought this pattern today. It is the first pattern I have paid for on my sewing journey and I am so excited for the results. I love that there is a tutorial to go along with it. That is the only thing that gave me the confidence to buy the pattern.
I looove wrap dresses!! They are so flattering and easy to wear! Can’t wait to get this pattern and some pre-loved fabric and make all kinds of wrap dresses!! 🪡🧵
Congrats on your new pattern janelle! Look amazing and the fabric choice is beautiful 🤩
Hi Janelle! Regarding the darts, I learned this technique where you start from the wider point of the dart, backstitch, sew down the length of the dart and then before you reach the “tip” of the dart you gradually decrease the stitch length until you reach the smallest one, and then you continue sewing just over the edge of the fabric and tie the threads in a knot like normal. I just learned this one and it’s been giving me really clean results so I thought I’d share! Especially considering how many darts you sew with every dress lol, maybe you’d like to give it a go. Anyway, I really love this pattern! I fell in love with the dress since that earlier video of yours. I’m really proud of you for your work, you’re such an inspiration 💖
Ahhhh I just bought the digital pattern and I'm soooooo excited to make it! It's such a beautiful, classic, and versatile silhouette - I can imagine myself wearing this for every occasion and every season by changing the length of the dress, the type of sleeve, and type of fabric I use!!!
This is such a gorgeous dress! Thank you for the helpful tutorial!! I also appreciate that you have many sizes for this dress! 🙂
I bought this pattern as an early birthday present for myself. I am planning to use some fabric my Nana gave me that she had hoarded from the 80s (white with red polka dots). I can't wait to see how it turns out! Thanks Janelle :) keep up your great work
I will for sure buy the pattern and give it a try 👍🏻 thank you Janelle for your great work and inspiring so many to try sewing 🧡
Just bought the pattern this morning and I can't wait to try and make this dress!
You are amazing and I am so excited for you. Your own excitement and positive energy is making me jump up and down my chair.
Thank you for your patterns! So easy to follow as I am a beginner with zero background on sewing.
This is amazing! I love the dress, it's so cute! So happy for you ☺️☺️
Thank you 😊 I have ordered the pattern and hope to throw together a couple of dresses for summer. Ugh. I hate the heat.
