Gorges-Reinhard - 2022 Dry Riesling, Großer Herrgott Vineyard

This is the 2022 Dry Riesling from Weingut Gorges-Reinhard from Mosel, Germany.
The "Großer Herrgott" vineyard is planted on slate soil with slopes of 30%-80%. This is ideal for the vines to soak in the sunshine (but makes it hard to maintain the vines!), develop ripe grapes, and mature into exceptional cool climate Riesling wine.
This dry wine delights with its aromas of flower blossoms and citrus fruits, accompanied by hints of white pineapple and ripe peach. Lovely balance and a long finish make this a joy to experience.
