I have almost all of those heads except the rebel d and mirage 1 and I have to say my personal favorite is the DNA

The mirage 2 is literally my dream head and with a carbon 2 shaft perfect stick for me bc I have fast hands I’m and o mid and I know how to shoot really well

@@ECD I’d say the Nemisis 3 and the Eclipse 2 are the two best goalie heads on the market I can’t wait to see what you guys put out for the goalies!
I use the eclipse 2. For the stringing I use 2 u’s

Put the Mirage 2.0 on a Carbon 3.0 60inch and i love it for lsm it’s great for transition and is stiff enough to play good defense
I have seen that a few times! I still think personally the DNA is the better option in the long run for any LSM

Hi ECDLax, would you guys ever consider making the Rebel D in FlexForm plastic so people still get the wide face shape but added durability?
We have tested most of our heads in our Flexfrom material and have found it to be awesome but we want to offer a variety of heads that cater to different styles of players.
@@ECD understood. I’ve always liked how STX will make some of their defensive heads in their usual plastic AND their enduraform plastic so different people had different options, but different companies do different things and I love what you guys are doing. Will ECD ever bring back Graphene heads?

LSM using Maverik Tank on Carbon Pro 3.0. Love the Tank but love ECD Company and equipment even more and want to switch over. Do you Recommend the Rebel or the DNA?
I would recommend the rebel defense. The DNA is very pinched and not very stiff compared to the tank. Rebel D will be more familiar.

I cant decide what i should do im a d mid and i currently have the rebel offense and cf5 pre made stick and i want to get i head that i can have a mid pocket on the deeper side while still being legal got any suggestions

I play midfield and I want to do face offs but my head was too stiff. I play on both sides of the field. What head would you recommend

What is the difference between a mid to mid-low pocket and a mid to mid-high pocket. Does a mid-high pocket have more whip or a faster release? I'm using a dna right now with a mid to mid-low pocket. Im not liking the weight of the dna so I'm looking to changing to a different head/pocket combo!
Same. I'd might go Mirage 2.0 or Rebel O
The placement of the pocket in the head changes how long it takes for the ball to leave your stick and that usually effects how/ where you snap your wrists in space in front of your body and how much you pull with your bottom hand. A lower pocket takes longer for the ball to leave the head given the channel is the same tightness as a higher pocket: this effect makes the ball come out at shallower angle and creates the perception of less whip.
It's all about how the ball catches and releases out of the pocket one style of pocket doesn't have more whip per say. Its truly all in the way it's strung and the tension used while stringing
For a crease/x attackman what would you recommend? The mirage or the offense?

I would lean towards the Rebel O and Mirage 2.0 the decision would be on how tight of a face shape you want.
Which of these heads is best for one a SSDM and which is best for a two way mid that plays an even amount of time on both sides of the ball?

I got a Mirage 2.0 and I’m wondering if a mid or mid low pocket would be able to be strung for attack? Is it possible based on the head’s shape?
I also play attack, I play wing so I mainly shoot. I’m gonna buy a mirage 2.0 and pair it with a carbon 3.0 because of the flex form I can shoot really fast. I’m gonna string it mid-high which is in the middle, for good shot and decent handles. Don’t string low for attack because if you are shooting a lot it will decrease the power a lot. This is my main issue with my maverick optik 3.0 head.

I’m an LSM/Faceoff player. Should I get the DNA or Weapon X? I don’t need to be clamping down on the ball so I don’t think it’s necessary to have the Weapon X. I’m just not sure.
Most likely weapon X. Weapon X is a good head that can throw, shoot, and bend if you need it. I have a DNA head, and their heads land more on the heavier side of lacrosse heads and it doesn't want to bend either. So I'd go Weapon X as a safe choice.
If you're an LSM get the DNA. I'm guessing you're not full time face off, so for longevity the DNA will probably be better for you. If you are full time face off then maybe the Weapon X but that the face off position is changing to where clamps are used less.
I am an attack man who is physical and shoots mostly inside shots what head(s) would you recommend? (Preferably one with good hold)
I would say MTX paired with the Mirage 2.0

We are not, most tournaments have been cancelled in the state of Maryland due to the current rise in covid cases

@@cameronsilvestri3724 I don't recommend it. Trying to bend your mirage is a horrible idea. I have a Mirage and I was forced to do faceoffs this one game. The sidewalls broke :(. I know the MIrage 2.0 is a new stick but I wouldn't want to risk it.
We learned a lot since the first Mirage.. This won't noodle out

What position? All of our heads will fit on the Carbon 3. I would not recommend a weapon x on any carbon fiber shafts

I am an incoming 9th grader who is about to buy a carbon 3.0 and mirage 2.0. Is this a good mix/choice for an wing attackmen who likes to shoot? I was thinking the carbon would be good because of the way it flexes. If so, how should I string it? Also, how does the graphene mirage differ from the normal black/white mirage?
if i put a ecd rebel offense head on a ecd carbon pro 2.0 shaft will it fit good so i can use it?

I bought a white weapon x when it first came out, but the white color has become yellow over the months, is it because of FlexForm?
Flex from can have slight color changes but it does not affect the performance of the head.

Nothing to jurassic its just like a normal wide top with about 4 inches of space where the ball sits

Either option is solid. If you are looking for a head with more pinch then the Mirage 2.0 would be the better fit

I would probably so Rebel O would be the best for your specific case with the lightweight and not super pinched face shape it will allow you to get the ball in and out fast

i had 2 weapon x's and they broke in the same spot on the left side
Face off heads will have a higher failure rate when comparing to other position specific heads as they go through the most abuse. Where most attack men can just go shoot for reps faceoff guys have to get nitty gritty bending those heads to put in reps
But make it better and name it different would be awesome, or just reproduce the expect same design and head and ask for a patent for making them.
To bad they don't sell and make them anymore.

Not really. Geared towards a similar position but that is about it
I like my DNA a lot, but I'm an attackman, and I do want a lighter head for shooting. I'm on the fence between a Rebel O and a Mirage 2.0
Mirage 2.0 the rebel O is good but the mirage 2.0 is way lighter and built more for attakman.
Either way you can't pick wrong!

I'm a 2-way middie that's going to switch to lsm next season and I currently use the warrior evo 5. Does you guys think that would be okay for lsm or should I get a different head.
That a tough call to make, if everything seems to be in good condition and works for you don't change it yet. When you notice things start to feel off or you can notice your head is getting a lot softer then might be the better time to change.

I can’t decide between the mirage, rebel, or DNA. I play mostly middie with a little defense and more attack then defense. What head is for me? I will probably go with the DNA though because of it’s all around design.

Yes DNA is a very good head for that but just think of your past heads and their shape and which ones you liked the most and then incorporate what you did not like about those heads into this video and then pick a head that has the same look a like to your older heads and DNA has that mid to high pocket which is very good for all potions. Like he said it has bean played with at every potion. So the DNA or rebel are good heads for you.
@@codawaygross9412 I will go with the dna purely for the flex-form plastic because I play u12 and theres a lot of contact and you never know what position you will play.
They both have a very similar face shape and design, the main difference is the type of plastic. so if you don't mind the weight, the DNA would be perfect for you. If weight is a big deal for you it has to be the rebel.
