- As a research Institute with beds which Ministry of Health has assigned to be in charge of leading examination and treatment in the combination between traditional medicine and modern medicine in 24 southern provinces and cities, 05 Central Highlands provinces, including Ho Chi Minh City; continuing the tradition, and promoting the values and achievements of more than 47 years of establishment and development, generations of doctors and medical staff at the Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Medicine Institute, previously and now, always have put in their hearts and inscribed on their minds with the cognition and working mindset of "good doctors are like loving mothers" and the motto of "dedicated care, thorough treatment" to be worthy for any patient to visit the Institute - “The Institute is always home, patients’ relatives are employees of our Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Medicine Institute
