@@Trippylens_actually I want to ask you about the natural beauty, that do Switzerland and Austria have the same natural beauty as alpes mountain range goes pass through both the countries? And what is rate of the hotels which are 3 star and 4 star category?
@@genuine1783 Hey! I haven’t been to Switzerland yet so can’t really compare both the places! But for sure Austria has very scenic countryside landscapes with Alps & alpine lakes! Do check out my video on Hallstatt and Alpine lakes to see the countryside views and roads 😊
@@Trippylens_ yeah of course. Could you please tell about the hotel rate. Do you think vienna is much expensive than other European cities. I mean it's fair for vienna As it's the mostly livable city for consecutive 12 years. I have no complain for that. Vienna deserves to be expensive. But still I want to know your opinion. 😊😊
@@genuine1783 For sure Vienna is expensive! Infact even Salzburg was expensive. Cafés like MCD are the best option if you want to save up money when eating outside in these cities!
For hotels as we went in shoulder season we got a pretty decent rate! You could try booking in advance and you’ll definitely get some cheap options. Airbnbs were quite expensive when we researched!
This channel needs to be in CZcams algorithm ❤ massive viral
Thank you 🙏 😊
If you continue to make such good video with so much details and info you are surely going to hit 1 M❤
@@anchita-fh3tt Hey! Thanks a lot! Very encouraging to hear such feedback 😇
Very helpful
Thank you 😊
Awesome
Thanks!☺️
A wonderful vlog series, Soumya! Very comprehensive and well-researched. The eye for detail is for all to see. God bless. Can you spell out the hotel you put both up in Salzburg? I intend to replicate your tour plan of Austria, Croatia and the neighbouring countries.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback 😊 The hotel in Salzburg was Hotel Imlauer and Brau.
Hello trippylens , I really like your videos and have subscribed your channels. Your videos are very well organized and very informative. We are also planning a trip to Austria & Slovenia and renting car from Munich. I would really appreciate any tips/help on how did you find car parking at major cities like Innsbruck , Salzburg , Hallstat , Lake bled etc. This is my first road trip in Europe .
You should be travel ambassador
So much knowledgeable u have
Hehe 😛
great video.. subscribed but please tell the prices of hotels as well
better to avoid background music or lower the volume of music. very informative.
Sure thanks ☺️
Hey thank you for this amazing video. We are planning to go to austira in mid march. What kind of weather do you foresee and what kind of clothing do we carry?
Hey! I guess mid March would be still cold and there could be snow fall as well .. maybe month end or April would be a better time? For clothing for sure carry all your woolens and beanies and gloves! Gets quite cold and can be windy as well
Nice
Thank you ☺️
Very helpful video. Is it possible to provide an appropriate location pin for the picturesque road you mentioned enroute to traunsee?
I couldnt find it on google streetview. We are planning to go next week..
Hey! I tried searching for the exact road but couldn’t find it but you won’t miss it as it was quite a long route of scenic road between these 2 lakes.
Massive thanks for creating and sharing this video. We’re going to Austria this September and this video will help us a lot. Just a few quick questions. Instead pf going back and forth can we spend first 2 days in vienna and then continue to Salzburg. Also I couldn’t find your guide on Innsbruck. We are planning to spend last 2 days of the trip there. It would be a great help if you can share your thoughts. Thanks agin for this super helpful video❤😇
Hey! Sure you can do it. Spend few days in Vienna and then go to Salzburg.
As our flight out of Austria was from Vienna we had to anyway go back.
We did not visit Innsbruck. We preferred to spend more days in Austrian countryside ☺️ The places in Innsbruck didn’t really interest us that much so we skipped it
Very well made video, informative at the same time very crisp....thank you for this excellent guide for visiting Austria!
We, a couple in their early sixties, are planning a trip to Europe for 15 days early October this year including Austria. Which other countries (with cities) would you recommend to visit along with Austria and the order in which to visit them?
Thank you so much for your kind words 😊 You can club Slovenia, Prague (in Czech) and even Budapest in Hungary!
The order should depend on the ticket prices.. whichever city is the cheapest to fly into start your trip with that country and then look at the inter country train/flight options to decide the order!
@@Trippylens_ thank you
very nicely video. pl let me know about availability of veg food, also can we do airbnb instead of hotels. would you recommend austria instead of switzerland
Hey thanks!
You’ll find atleast 1 veg option & 1 vegan option in most of the restaurants.
You can do airbnbs. There are options !
I haven’t been to Switzerland yet. Austria is a more budget friendly option compared to Switzerland. Both are beautiful in their own way 😊
Wonderful. I watched all your videos of Austria.
1. Can we drive easily with our right hand driving in Austria? Or we need any driving practice before?
2. Any other cities you suggest in Austria other than Salzburg.
I am planning in the month of May last week. Planning two weeks trip Combined Austria and Switzerland.
Nice presentation. Thanks.
Thank you!
1. It can be tricky at the beginning. Best to drive the car directly to countryside in open space as city driving can be difficult!
2. Vienna for sure and Hallstatt !
We are planning a trip to Switzerland and Austria. I saw your Hallstatt day trip video, and the views look similar to some of the cities in Switzerland. Would it be worthwhile to visit Austria after visiting Switzerland?
Hey! Austrian countryside can be similar to Switzerland but why don’t you visit Vienna? It’s a stunning city in terms of architecture and vibe. Would be different from your Switzerland experience !
I would be definitely making my trip as same as you suggested… Nothing will be different because you have amazingly delivered each and every thing so properly…..
just let me know for the visa, should I apply on my own or should I consider any travel agency to do on my behalf as this will be my First Time…..
Thanks a lot for such positive words 😊 I think you should apply on your own. Agents charge exorbitant amounts and you ideally should choose them only if you are short on time!
great info and which month you went .?
Thanks! We did 17-days trip starting last week of September.
Hey Guys, Can you also tell if you need any permit, insurance etc. for flying drone as shown in the video? If any link you can provide?
Hey! I have a DJI mini 2 drone which weighs less than 250gms so I didn’t need any permit. I think as long as your drone (above 250gms) is registered you don’t need any special permit to fly it in Austria.
Hi very useful video ! Would you please name the hotel you stayed in Salzburg ?
Thank you! We stayed at Imlauer & Brau, Salzburg!
Hi, your entire videos are very much helpful for visit to Austria.we are planning during July along with two kids. I have few questions in my mind.
1. Would you suggest train or rent a car from Vienna to Salzburg as we are bit confuse that with children and luggage is it comfortable in train? And for how long does train stops at the Vienna station?
2. How safe Austria is? Is it safe to roam/drive during evening/night time?
Hey! Thank you ☺️
1. Trains are very comfortable and convenient. They have more than enough luggage storage and I feel easiest way to move from Vienna to Salzburg!
2. It’s completely safe. We walked around even during night and there were still people around and never once did we feel unsafe .
Thank you so much for helping.🤗
@@dharakaranwal6083 you are welcome 🤗
Wouldn't you suggest visiting Innsbruck?
Innsbruck is a good skiing place but otherwise it didn’t has the charm that Salzburg and Vienna did for us 😊
Do we need to show any bank balance or bank statement for applying visa
Yes brother approximately 52000
Yes. You can watch my detailed Schengen Visa guide here!

Ma'am, I'll be travelling solo, and planning a trip like yours to Austria only from India? Can I make it within one lac including all for me?
1L could be a little difficult as Austria is a little expensive. You can maybe manage if book on advance during off season and stay in hostels, take food from home etc
we are planning to go in April 2024. Is that conducive time to visit ?
Yes I guess! Would be the end of winters and not too cold and crowded!
Do we get fan in hotels
Hmm we actually didn’t see fans in any hotel we stayed at 😅 Only ACs
Hello sister please you can tell me What is rich history in austria😊😊
Vienna citty me kea kea dekhne ko milta hai😊😊
Hey you can check my detailed vlogs on Vienna on this channel where I have showed all the places I covered
Hi,
Can you please share your hotel stay in Salzburg?
Hey! We stayed in Hotel Imlauer & Brau.
Hello
You mentioned 36k for 6 days accommodation but this hotel you mentioned is showing charges around 25k for single night for 2 adults. Can you help with budget hotel in Salzburg? Thank you.
Did u not visited Innsbruck?
No we did not. We wanted to spend more time exploring Austrian countryside.
From where you booked your ticket …?
Makemytrip
How is austria for a 1.5 yr old toddler along
Oh it should be manageable with a kid as well.. no rough terrains or difficult weather…
How did you book a roundtrip flight per person at 40k?
1. We went during shoulder season which is an inexpensive time to travel.
2. Booked our tickets more than 3 months in advance
3. Using Google flights we picked the cities that were cheapest to fly into & out of Europe and accordingly planned our itinerary.
In this case Vienna was cheapest to fly into and Ljubljana in Slovenia had cheapest return flights to Bangalore.
U deserve 1 million subscribers ❤
Thank you so much ☺️
Could you please mention the names of the hotels from Austria in the comments here?
Hotel Imlauer and Brau in Salzburg
holiday inn in Vienna
You didn't travel to Innsbruck,vorarlbarg,graz??

Did you visit Hungary? Any tips for visiting there?

Can make complete trip of Finland
I haven’t been to Finland yet!
I have been to Finland for a week. It's also nice. You can plan 2 days in Helsinki, visit Lapland (Rovaniemi famous for santa claus village if you have children), go for 2 day cruise to Stockholm, Sweden

You spent 20k for food for both of you for 6 days?
Yeah.. we would eat at a MCD like place for one meal and then maybe a little more higher range place for the second meal
