- New Tier 5 Support Hunter is now out in Evolve. She is quite possibly the most interesting of the Tier 5 Hunters released and she adds so much to the story that it may even be possible to theorize what the Monters' motives are. Her relationship with everyone else is also worth noting so they're afraid of her but aren't blind to how much she can help them. She might actually be my new favorite Support Hunter.
And her relationship with Crow is funny, yet surprisingly heartwarming. He is not scared of her and doesn't give a shit about her mutation, so long as she's an asset to the team. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Apparently in the Evolve Story Mode Kala was supposed to turn into a final boss Super Monster called "Kali" after injecting herself with DNA samples from all the Monster types. She became so powerful that she started Terra-forming Shear and turning Humans into Monsters before the other Hunters killed her.

Never thought ONE character could make for a great story mode, I mean there are so many questions about her...and those last lines, that's clearly not her talking
All I got from those last lines is that kala, maybe... Idk, is saying the forms of the monsters will be the new superior beings of the galaxy. Based on these convos too, I feel that either these monsters were a mistake and kinda got out of hand (though I feel this is very unlikely) or someone wants to rule the Galaxy with monsters by controlling them with some bio-robotic organism that forms some form of a parasitic relationship with human DNA that's capable of performing cellular division really, really, really... fast (allowing the monster to "evolve" so quickly and able to form mutations (example meteor Goliath and different skins for the monsters.)
I believe it could be one of the monsters talking temporarily through Kala (example her left eye or "kraken" eye is blind to here but not blind to the monsters as they can see through that eye) so why not if they can read her mind?
If she thinks the monsters can see through her kraken eye I would politely suggest she invest in an eyepatch. Just a thought...

+Kristian Nox I felt like, with the original heroes, we shouldn't have characters that are downers or mean or just radiated negative energy. I wanted the player to enjoy the time spent with the characters, and experience a sense of camaraderie. Heroes!@=
But by the time we got to Kala, I felt like we'd done that, we'd sort of proven we could make good characters, and it was time to do something darker. Make a regretful hero. Slim was kind of a proof of concept there.

This may sound like a joke , but this is some great advice actually.
The last lines that Kala speaks at the end, makes me think of the “chanting” and “a different voice” almost like she’s translating what the monster is saying during the fight.
Patterson field, HNA, second voices and constantly asking for approval and acceptance, not to mention the lymphatic life-support, The monsters have a form of sheilding similar to the tech that makes domes, energy shielding, etc. the Patterson field is the equation for those technologies... I want to know what becomes of her, it is... Frightfully exciting. The monster's HNA is 'artificial' I believe that is what HNA is in Evolve, that being said they have to have a connecting point, an origin, their cells reproduce and adapt constantly... I love this piece of plot.

I don't know. A movie is too short, absolutely, but a TV series might be too long. A TV series rarely manages to keep the mystery for more than a season. Say what you might about the game, but it has a great feel. The monsters were never fully explained, and that is really intriguing. Also, a TV show could get all the content you want, but a couple dudes fighting a monster in every episode might get boring, especially if you only have five to choose from. Plus, a TV might not have the budget to get this right. You'd need like an Avatar level of money to do Evolve justice. Maybe a mini series?

The idea that her body is being turned into a viewing station for whatever mind controls the monsters is the kind of thing I’d read a whole SciFi book to learn. Amazing storytelling.
I think she fused with the lore very well and her perspective is very unique blurring the view of monster and hunter.
I read some pretty cool theories on the forums. One part really caught my attention. Those last lines are not her but the monsters letting us know what they intend to do. That makes sense to with what Abe said about her talking in her sleep. The mystery surrounding the monsters just keeps getting better.
Thanks for putting these in more or less chronological order. It helps give context to the whole thing.
I want them to continue the story line with Kala and the rest of the crew

Slim making a lotr reference and calling Kala a Nazgûl 1000 years into the future is amazing.
Also Nazgûls are sometimes referred to as RingWRAITHS, I don't know if that was intentional or not but it's still a great pun regardless.
Jesus Christ Kala is scary and dark but I love her! I think Slim and Crow have the best back & forths with her while the EMET one was HILARIOUS! Kala's going to be a super monster in Evolve 2 lol

Wow, you know what is really coincidental. The game's lore is Evolving. Badum tss...
But if you really think about it, at first with goliath, kraken, and wraith they felt and looked natural, like alien life forms from the planet, part of an ecosystem. This is mostly apparent with Goliath, but when looking at kraken's lightning attacks.. and wraith's teleport and decoy I had a hind of, maybe these are aliens or made by aliens? Then we got Behemoth which made no sense in terms of an ecosystem, and Gorgon which felt the most natural but is still creepy. Then we have Kala, so we find out these are alien creatures and such, then we find out they have to do something with the patterson drive, and when Kala gets downed the monsters can speak through her... They think of humans as to how we think of cancers. Very creepy and makes me on ease for playing both sides equally. Either play as humanity, try and save humanity even though you are a cancer to this highly sophisticated alien race beyond us OR play as the monsters, a futuristic highly intelligent alien race that live in 4D, and try wiping these cancers out from eliminating their race or harming it by harnessing the power of evolution and bending it for your wills and destroying the disease from within.
huh, guess that is coincidental.

Kala means Art
Ok I'm sure this has been mentioned already but in the conversation between Cabot and Caira (7:05) it is mentioned that Kala's body will last 14 days. Based on her release date that figures out to be the 1 year anniversary of the release of Evolve. Wonder if this could be foreshadowing a possible surprise from TRS.

that part at the end was very spooky, almost like a monster or something watching through her eye thought she was going to die, and thus made its final words in the form of a speech or a prophecy.
I like her reaction when Lazarus said he'll preserve her..just that..intrigued.. "oh.."
curious if we will see what happens to kala later on. i know game wise it would've work, but if we ended up getting a different version of kala... like maybe a full monster version, we could have new conversations that could help story wise. really wished they produced an evolve comic series to tell the story, i would read the hell of that!

I haven't read it, but I heard there was an article teasing about how if there was a sequel, it wouldn't be so multiplayer ecentric. I agree with that too. It'd be nice to have the co-op still, but there's potential for an actual story mode with characters like these I feel. I'm rooting for TRS, hope it happens.

Wow. Kala is by far the most interesting team member and I mean that by miles. Absolutely fantastic dynamics and possibilities for a pretty intriguing story.

That griffin dialogue were she says "i was right" this solves the answer to the monsters origin. They're human... And maybe gorgon is a 1st level basilisk soldier.

Alright guys lets see what have we here..... 1st off I'd want to say that Kala is pretty much one favorite character of mine she'd like top everyone from the team and while Abe was my first guy that I had in game Kala is in my favorite top list with that being said lets jump to the stuff that the hunters said about her:
Now Markov is a nice guy I really like the way he like understands that she was pretty brave and here he is pretty much the only guy who is basically the nicest to her in my opinion Markov is a nice and honorable guy and while I wanted to try out EVERY assaulter because they look freaking cool and I actually tried out like 2 of them but neither of them were as good as Markov because I choose characters because of their personailites in basically every game so to Markov I say cheers mate you'll be mah number 1 fav Assault guy (and probably the number 1 fav guy)
then Ciara....... now she is the opposite of Markov yeah she is a scientist we can understand why she says things what she says but if its a possibility I'd stay away from her because while she could just go on maybe help Kala get a cure but NOPE she just needed her documents so she can calculate when and how will Kala dies so Ciara GETS YO ASS OUTTA MAH TEAM RIGHT NOW THATS AN ORDER I BEAT DOOM 1 and 2 on the highest difficulty so I can order such things....
now next Abraham...... I am very very disapointed within him as I choosed him for the first time when the game became free to play so because I wanted him to be mah main guy I say thanks but no thanks
Now Lenox Hyde and Jack are the guys that I'd not want to see in mah team 2 of them just interested in what would become of her and the other one just calls him a monster like Ciara
Griffin just didn't said too much so I have no reason to say anything he is normaly a nice guy so I have no problem with him furthermore I still like him for who he is
Cabot is a leader he wants to help Kala but his hands a tied because of the rest of the crew and thats bad as it may be he still tries to help her he is cool in my book
James and Lazarus both of them call her brave but while James thinks her crazy as well at some point and he is kinda aware of her thing that might happen to her but till she is herself he looks at her as a teammate he fights for her and even dies for her if needed good leader type of guy but I hope he'll stay that way but Lazarus is basically like Markov while once he even asked her if she wanted to be a monster BUT then again he said that she was brave for doing to herself what she did and not to someone else a good man again
Slim judges her but let us be honest even he did a lot of stuff with himself so yeah but even then he feels sorry for her and for both of them tries to make jokes on her but not in the mocking way but in the joke way
Emet is a funny guy and a nice guy I still have no problem with him because ANYONE CAN SAY THAT HE IS AN AMAZING GUY and I like him for who he is but liek Griffin I cant say too much thing about him
Val as she said she is an agent not a duffbag she help Kala till she is in her team like James so good person again in my book
Crow and Maggie now THEY HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH HER and they actually like Markov try to kind of make her feel better I give them mah approval for being amazing
so basically to summ all of this up Markov and Lazarus, Jim and Val, Crow and Maggie and Cabot they get my approval for basically not just for being nice and stuff like that no but they get my approval for keeping her intact and keeping the crew intact because while others would simply throw her off of the ship Cabot sees that they should trust her more after all she did everything for the colonist and for everyone Markov and Lazarus sees all of this and they actually tell her not to feel bad for what she did to herself because she was brave to do what she did and they want to keep her intact they don't want her to just fall apart and Jim and Val while they don't exactly agree with what she did they say that they are A TEAM and that they will fight for each other till the end and Crow and Maggie just feel simphaty towards her they threat her like they'd threat anyone else good people who just wants to make her feel the way she felt before all the things that happened
next summ up Ciara Lenox Hyde Jack now these guys the ones I just don't like Lenox wants to see what will become of her so basically she is a scientist all the way in the good and the bad aspects as well Hyde calls her a monster and Jack just wants to see what will become of her because just for fun and Ciara rather than searching for a cure she'd just want to see how soon will she die yep these are the guys whom would get sent away if I'd be their commander like at X-COM
Next Abe and Slim Abe was just dissapointing but from time to time I saw that he actually felt sorry for her just like Slim and while he even said that he wont going to feel simphaty towards her he DID and for that they get to stay at the X-COM because they however scary she might look they still accept her.......... in a way....
Emet and Griffin They are nice people but they didn't talked too much with her or rather about her and even when they did their reaction toward her still was just not clear unlike Lazarus's comment where from only 1 comment I already heard everything that I needed to say that he thinks her to be brave and he is basically like Markov but Emet and Griffin well... while Emet was just a funny guy here Griffin just had a kind of understandable reaction but that was that
WOW that was a long comment to write and why did I wrote it you may ask? I tell you because I choose characters by their personalities and for that I tried to like summ up who did I liked and then I wanted to summ them up in a way who has and what kind of relationship towards her and thats that though I feel that NO One will read my long comment but if someone will then I believe that one will be a fan of the story of Evolve

Maybe the Monster's are not talking about destroying Kala when they say "abnormality", They could mean the settlements in general, since that could be qualified as "abnormal" to creatures already living there. The vacuum part could be about destroying Shear because the general idea of a catalyst is a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change, so that means they could destroy the planet without themselves undergo the chemical change. By destroying the planet, they technically destroyed matter too, and that allows them to create a "real vacuum." Since the monsters see this place as a "False vacuum." But that's just my personal idea, it could be what you were talking about.

it's most likely she will. or she'll become worse. maybe a living vessel for whatever is making the monsters, like a walking broodmother. she'd have her original intelligence plus the monsters abilities and possible chance to control them. she'd be very spooky.
I recon they'll release another skin for her, well not so much a skin but another version of her character like tech sergeant Hank and blitz markov, another version of her where the gene splicing has taken over a bit more, where she's more monster than human this time and get abilities have changed and are more monster like. I think that'll be pretty sweet.

I forget the reason she said though. but I believe the monsters are controlled and made by an alien force, whether it is a race or basically a sentient hive. and it is trying to use Kala as a vessel to see and control.
Caira's first theory was about how the monster was from Shear they are just there to kill off the humans there like a Cell in a body

I suspect that there's gonna be something completely new coming to evolve after t5 hunters and monster. Players need something more than four hunters killing a monster, and there might be brand new contents and development directions planned for this game. That's what I feel like after seeing Kala. Last hunter of t5, whose story is by no means a small side entertainment of the game. This feels completely different from normal entertainment dropship conversations.
I wouldn't be surprised if the next monster coming out is Kala herself, and I know people would absolutely love to play that.

wait, one of the conversations between Parnell and Kala was that according to the DNA or HNA structure, there are 3 classes Kraken, Wraith, Goliath, so what does that make the Behemoth and the Gorgon?
Can someone help me figure this out, does this mean that the other 2 are adaptations of the basic 3 but also their own new branch unlike meteor Goliath and elder Kraken which are basically elite more enhanced versions, or does this mean that we/they made them with the basic 3 code/HNA?

The fact that Kala talks about creating a true vacuum universe implies that this universe is just a false vacuum and is currently stuck in a metastability event. Which also implies that the universe could destabilize out of existence at any time. Shit the Patterson drive might just be a result of the universe destabilizing. Nobody knows how it works and it shouldn't work but it does.
So much cool shit that we never got to see.

After Abe described her sleep voice as being like an old man, I have come to the conclusion that the monster inside of her is most definitely a Kraken.
I mean just look at a Kraken and try telling me it doesn't look like an old man with those beard tentacles.

They work an occupational hazard and see little point in building a relationship with lies, they want to know who they are working with in hopes that they will cover their backs instead of abandoning them or backstabbing them
general consensus is both not many are people persons i.e. two recluses and a few other situations and we may die SLOWLY to BEAST OF UNKNOWN ORIGINS so why bother with being normal with it
