I was wondering if you had found the P-switch cheese cause your time on that level was really good :D
Just a couple days ago my brother found that as well and I was impressed and shocked at the same time, because I had not thought of using Bob-Omb’s like that xD

    Man, this level was phenomenal
I spent over an hour playing it and had a blast exploring it and finding all it's secrets
The biggest issue I have with this level is that Mario Maker forces users to have timers on their levels and that interrupts your ability to explore and play the level freely, the Checkpoint Flags are at least good uses for being able to sort of save your progress(my only real complaint is with the "game engine" and not the actual level)
I've not seen a better use of the serene music in a level, it's surprising how just a music change can really encourage you to take it slow and just enjoy the moment, the fact it plays the whole time also helps the level stick out more than it already does, it makes it feel like this course has it's own soundtrack considering
The red coin mechanic is really well done, being able to decide if you want to skip the first half of the level or the second half really let's you make your own path if you think you can get through the 3 side areas quick enough to make up for it
I never thought sequence breaking would ever be a thing in F***ing Mario Maker, but they did it, you can get to the second level of the ark without going through the first level to get the mushroom if you collect the Fire Flowers connected to the first Red Coin, and of course you can use the red coins to skip major sections
Finding the Red Coins, figuring out the puzzles, clearing some of the unique platforming challenges, and learning the layout of The Ark is all really fun to do and rewarding
and the design of the level is also beautiful. This is a very unique looking level, it sticks out from pretty much any other level and all the detail works really well to make things look fleshed out and give some life to the course, letting the player interperet what everything is supposed to be, not to mention the elements that hint to something greater, like the giant star located at the heart of the ark, I imagine it as a giant power source that once powered this now abandoned ark, overrun with vines, plants, flooding, and fish, or that weird, "egg" located above the goal at the end of the course
and THEN on top of it not only just looking nice, all the detail also ties into the gameplay, you're encouraged to take a close look at everything to find secrets and hidden paths you'll miss otherwise
Routing a path and then executing it was fun to think through, I ended up going with get all 3 red coins, skip the first half of the level, and then finish the second half normally, I don't think I thought about trying to use the Bob-ombs to reach inaccessible areas(although even if I had, I don't know if I would have wanted to... taint? the level I guess)
But seeing you do that makes it look like it'd be really fun to experiment and see just what is possible, honestly I think it's the kind of skip that really fits the vibe of the level, blowing open parts of the Ark using some of the weaponry left over is really cool, and when I saw you using the bob-omb I thought"Ooh, it'd be cool if he blew up the ceiling and used the P-Switch to skip that first part early" and then you did that! It felt like being rewarded for being observant and appreciating the detail in the level which as I said, the level already does a great job with
Major, Major props to HeHeHeHawe/eemilsalmi8038, I personally want to thank you for the level, it's one of the best and most unique ones I've seen yet

You gotta become a writer or something lol, I absolutely love hearing your takes on these levels. I already liked this level, I spent about 3 hours on it trying to find the best cheese and made a solo vid on it after all, but hearing your take just adds a whole lot more to it, and does make me realize the few critiques I had about the level were in fact towards Nintendo instead. I would have loved to be exploring this level more, and seeing everything I can, but I was worried about the timer counting down so I was trying to find the right path.
Any other game I explore and get mad when I go the correct way as I missed some cool secret! There was a great Metroid Super World I played awhile ago, and I was the same way. I wanted to explore because it was an amazingly well made recreation of Metroid Fusion, but I was once again worried about the time. Levels like these are Art and do deserve more time to explore, but there would be people abusing the system for sure if Nintendo did that which does suck.

Thank you very much! I worked a lot on this level and I greatly appreciate your opinion. Thank you for playing and reviewing my level.
I had not made a new level for SMM2 or played the game for 3 years and I wanted to make something new. Because I had not played Mario Maker for a long time, making a standard mario level didn't interest me. I had a desire to make a mario level, which wouldn't feel like a mario level, but rather like an original game. I wasn't conscious about it, but it just didn't feel right to, for example put Bowser or one of the Koopalings somewhere in the level.
I didn't use standard/iconic mario enemies like Goombas or Koopas, expect for Piranha Plants and Bob Ombs. I also didn't use the normal Super Mario Bros. 3 level music, but the "Peaceful" song, which I like a lot. I really think it added much to the level as a whole. To add, I wanted to really put effort on the level's visual appearance.
I really respect your insightful perspective on the level, Stevie!

I appreciate that, thank you for watching and commenting! I wasn't sure as I just do this on the side for fun, but one day I hope to do it full time and start live streaming more often!

Some old NASCAR driver once said "If you ain't cheating you ain't trying" (NASCAR has always been about cheating, especially cheating the Law).
For Mario Maker my thought is... If you ain't Cheesing, you ain't trying.

Haha that's a good one! Not a NASCAR fan but have heard that used in the NBA as well! Does fit Mario well too, finding cheese just gives you the best feeling of satisfaction!
