My favourite ❤ on the road
My too.
Steve Hartman is a national treasure.
He needs to be cast in a biographical movie for MISTER ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD
Agreed.. I love his perspective... it's the perspective of a kind human being
Years ago, Hartman did a series called "Everybody Has a Story". He would randomly throw a dart at a map of the U.S., go to that location and pick someone out of a phonebook and do a story about them.
I've been a fan of Mr. Hartman ever since.
Yes, that was really neat. I enjoyed watching those.
I had forgotten about that. That was what got me hooked on watching him. He regales us with such amazing stories of hope.
Steve Hartman is such a gem of a human. I can never get enough of his productions that focus on the good side of humanity.
I’ve been a writer for more than 35 years, but I bow my head to America’s master story teller.
Steve, your boys are amazing. Steve Hartman being my dad….wow. And I may be your age. Good job Dad.
Steve - everyone loves you and these stories!
I'm always searching for books authored by Steve Hartman! I need a warm and cozy read! 🙋💐
"The majestic beauty of nature is the essence of life."

Thank you for all you share with us.
The perfect snow angel and snowman! What a little darling.
RIP frank and herbie
Steve you’re priceless!
I have never been to this town, but I had a tear in my eye for the 600 year old tree. So glad to hear about the acorn sprouting!
Steve Hartman reminds me of a younger version of Mr Rogers. Both pure souls.👍🏼👍🏼🥰
The story about the man and the tree he cared for being used to fashion his casket was just such a beautiful and fitting tribute to those two national treasures.
I'm on board! Steve Hartman is a SUPER HUMAN! 🤗♥️
OK. I just started watching this episode and Steve is channeling Mr. Rogers. 😊 Now I know why he is so loved. CBS needs to keep Steve around as long as he wants.
Thank you for sharing these wonderful stories!
Thank you and many blessings to you and your family! I love this beautiful soul, your son! ❤️❤️❤️🙋🏼♀️💜💚
Love “on the road “ with Steve Hartman!!!!!
I love your stories, Steve!
Oh Steve as usual you have done it again!! Every single story a heart string tugger! The little girl playing in the snow her grandpa brought her, the 600 year old tree, even Steven weeding his 4 1/2 acres and your sons enjoying the eclipse. BTW your home is beautiful and your lovely wife so sweet! Always enjoy time spent with your show! It’s the best and when I need to cheer up I watch Steve!!
You know Steve…..you do great heartfelt work, and you touch peoples soul! Thank you so much!!!
What a great grandfather. good for you man!

A very nice tribute to Earth Day. Thanks, Steve!
We need more Steve Hartman stories in our lives.
Beautifully written, as always, Steve.
Love your stories!!👍👍
No one tells these stories like you Mr. Hartman. God bless you. :)
That astronomer and what he has built is awesome. A telescope and night sky with a person who knows the skies would be so awesome. A perfect evening.
Steve you have outdone yourself! I loved every minute of this video. Tears of laughter and love
Refreshing to see a nice positive show, thank you. Your efforts are appreciated.
We need more people like you. Your love for people and nature is God ❤️
His stories give me happy cold chills.❤️
This is what television should be about. I always look forward to his work. Well done, always.

Steve you're a wonderful dad!
I absolutely love how you find the best stories they are always very inspiring thank you
I love his stories and how he tells them. Thank you.
All I can say truly is Thank you! from the bottom of my heart.
Love your story about your sons. Thank you for sharing.
There is usually some point during these On The Road broadcasts where I can’t help the tears that come, and Herbie and his casket did it for me.
There wasn't one of those stories I couldn't relate to. Thanks Steve
Thank You Steve 😊
That’s an awesome grandparent! ❤
I use to spend so much time and energy keeping up my orange and avocado trees for years, not to mention the amount of water ,one year my husband got sick for quite a while,I couldn't take care of the trees anymore after 20season and no human bothering them they flourished and the fruits are in abundance and so delicious. Just like Steve's prairie at the end.
My dealer is Menards. Lol. My husband calls me the crazy plant lady. It feels good to be outside with dirty hands and knees. Nobody complains about too many flowers.
I just watched this. I complain loudly about the heat. But I jump for joy over snow and even the cold 🥶. Not all of complain with each season. I can't take enough off in the heat but I can add in the winter
That planetarium is breathtaking. That is supremely steampunk-ish. I love it.
You’re prairie is gorgeous!!🌻🌼🌸
I really enjoyed this special.
Always good.
Awesome 👏🏼!!
My son has autism and also loves the solar system and anything that has to do with satellites 🛰 amazing little creations they are.
Me and my class watch your videos every day
That field picture looks like the AT I walked in Vermont.
Thank you for a 2024 refresh
I grew up in Yarmouth Maine and I remember that "Herbie" tree very well.
I love your segment with your kids, and I still think about the one with your Dad .
In my honest and humble opinion, Steve Hartman is overdue for the title of ‘most trusted face and voice of television.’ This is a man I could be friends with for life.
And you know that within that kind exterior, also lies a guy who’ll call you on your BS too. In a kind way of course. 😊
I'm so impressed with the Kovac Planetarium. I'm moving to Wisconsin in spring and definitely will visit.
Steve your weeding project is very inspiring. Many blessings to you and yours. PS Mugwort is medicinal. Dry it and give to healers.
He make life less complicated
YOU are a great DAD'
My son lives in Monico. We’ll have to check it out next summer when we’re up there!
John’s Island S.C. has the oldest living live oak east of the Mississippi, goggle for some fantastic shots!
Earth Day. W/Steve Hartman
George is my kind of people. ❤
It's no coincidence that the moon and sun appear the same size from our vantage point. It was deliberately created that way.
Herbie and the astronomer. I’m headed to WI.
Nothing last for ever but Jesus ☀️
❤️
You can eat certain wild greens!!! A lot of cultures cook them!!
Hey CBS, thanks for kinda listening. 20mins isnt a show. Steve deserves respect. He deserves a full weekly show. Not the end of a broadcast but the whole cast. I will never stop mentioning how ignorant you are CBS until then. You have a prophet that you waste. Shameful.
💚 💚💚💚💚💚💚🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾‼️‼️‼️‼️
EARTH DAY SPECIAL
They could use the wood and make a beautiful bench to sit there....
14:35 weird response by Hartman towards the man’s script.
Gosh i was about to be upset that they didn’t clone the old oak tree.
