Warren didn't just throw shade--that was an entire eclipse.
Too bad thats the only thing voters are looking at, verbal abuse on a stage.
Warren was taking out her frustrations because has no chance to win... she put on a good show but everybody knows she's a vicious, preachy harpy. Warren makes Hillary look like an amazing presidential candidate... at this point i'm almost wishing that Hillary would get in the race.
You know people cannot control how tall they'll be. Is like calling someone dark skinned with a negative connotation. Biological traits should not be used as insult period. Bloomberg is to be held accountable but no need to offend other like that.
@FAIL HOTSPOT why are you advertising
“We’d like to apologize to the owner of a Mitsubishi, Senator Warren just threw your car.”
LOL Colbert actually posted an NDA on his website. It says, "I promise to watch your jokes, but not tell anybody if I don't like your jokes. And I know this is a joke that I am signing right now."
That's actually brilliant 🤣
Just saw it, it is funy.
Man, I love this guy!
Phix - It’s not much of a surprise to ruin. Also when they inevitably take the page down in a couple weeks, if that, we now have this information preserved in a relevant location.
someone should print it, sign it and mail it back to them lol
"Though we knew you weren't talking about Trump because you said billionaire."
Yeah because Trump is broke. Well except he got the government to pay him for his own golf trips and housing government officials in his hotels. Probably made millions off the tay payer.
It is horrendous how much he gets away with.
Oh ho ho ho...
Warren had torn him (Bloomberg) from limb to limb... Oh snap.
Elizabeth Warren doesn't play.
Love when Stephen just slams the orange!
He doesnt have billions. Hes lost billions of his dad's fortune.
very stupid for bringing up Bloomberg's NDAs - that's not how you win tRump. Warren just lost my vote. The man said that he would support, meaning he will foot the bills of whoever is nominated in order to get rid of tRump - so putting him down is NOT a feather in Warren's cap. She looked and sounded stupid. And what's wrong in being a billionaire especially when you're doing good for others instead of stealing charity funds for your own projects like tRump.
After 4 years of the Moral High Ground leading to this point, I think Michelle Obama should revise that quote: "When they go low, step on them." :)
My favorite is "Taking the High Road has many advantages, not the least of which is the ability to drop rocks on those taking the Low Road."
BS anyway ... when they go low, just kick'em in the teeth while they're down there.

Dak Lamerbusch Anyone who remembers the quote that set Fox News on edge...”When they go low, we kick ‘em. I’m not saying we do anything illegal, but we have to get tough!”
Each time I see a Bloomberg ad a part of me dies inside... Regardless of politics, Warren’s takedown was extremely cathartic...
Whats worse is people actually voting for Bloomberg BECAUSE of those ads.
Whats even worse, is people thinking Warren bodyslamming people on stage = what leadership is about
Bernie 2020
It shows that most people prefer the trains running on time at the cost of their freedom
It's pretty disturbing that so many people are 'choosing' a candidate from political ads. And that Bloomberg is a GD republican anyway.
It may not be a conscious choice. People could only handle so much information and might not even remember where they got the information from by the time they reach the poll booth.
It’s partly why any disinformation campaign by a foreign government is so effective.

Gotta admit, i'm not a big fan of Warren, but there is something about seeing her continuously ripping Bloomberg a new one.
Isn't that part of the problem though? Warren tried to campaign on rational, well thought out plans and policies, which Americans resoundingly ignored. Now she slings some mud and everyone is cheering her on. It's no wonder our government has, on the whole, become so dysfunctional.
@Lets do this The only thing Warren is desperate for is money because unfortunately money buys elections and the only way to stay in the race is to have millions if not billions of dollars. I;'m a Bernie supporter but I really like how Warren called out Bloomberg. Did you not see him roll his eyes and snicker? he's a snake.
@Lets do this I wasn't suggesting Bloomberg didn't deserve it. Just that people's reaction has been akin to everyone cheering on a school yard brawl rather than demonstrating any interest in fixing the problems plaguing the country as a whole. It's disheartening honestly.
As for your "she's desperate" read. If that were the case she'd have tried to steal some of Bernie's thunder rather than attack Bloomberg.
She's desperate because she is losing to Bloomberg. And last night sealed the deal, she lost to Bloomberg.
@@glorymanheretosleep I've been scouring the web for one headline stating Warren "lost to Bloomberg" but have found nothing. Care to provide a source? Btw, I'm not trying to be dismissive, but I'd like more than just your opinion to back up your claims.

@@RIXRADvidz Still a nonsensical excuse.
Probably would have stung less if Warren had just walked over there and slapped him.
Warren doesn’t punch down
Maybe next time she'll talk about his mother too
Welcome to 2020 where people care more about smack talk than actual policies.
Warren is no better than Bloomberg, look it up.
@Leonie Romanes That's what counts my friend.
Chris Markham Warren punches down. Her sexism smears against Sanders and frequent attacks of his base finally got my 71yr old mother to switch her support to Sanders. Warren plays the Clinton identity politics game with these ‘Yazz Queen!’ staged moments and her supporters apparently think they’re meaningful while ignoring her support of Trump’s increased military spending year over year, reauthorization of the patriot act, support of Trump’s new NAFTA bill (something even Chuck Schumer couldn’t support) among other issues and credibility gaps.
You’ll notice Warren only went after Bloomberg on behalf of women and not people of color. Her 4th/5th place finishes mean she has largely failed to capture the 15% needed of the vote to win delegates. She is expected to do even worse in SC. She has no coalition or mass appeal among ethnicities and age groups.
With the Superdelegates gearing up to deprive Sanders of the nomination if he does not pass the 51% threshold (reported in the NYT yesterday) a vote for Warren might as well be a vote for Trump. If Sanders is stripped of the nomination by superdelegates while winning the popular vote it will split the Democratic Party (if not destroy it), suppress voter turnout, and provide an easy path to victory for Trump who will remind and energize his base with how corrupt the democrats are that they cheated Sanders of the nomination.
Let’s hope. 🙏
But better yet, 🇺🇸
Let’s vote!! 🗽

Also let's get the insult culture out of the White House too. One of the worst things about Trump is the way he talks to/about people he doesn't like, something him and Warren seem to have in common.
dafttool ... Yes
Guthrie Sturmey I’m not so sure. Warren is kinda up front, but she comes off as a school principal ripping into a delinquent student. She’s merciless, but there’s a method to her madness. There are some people in DC who deserve it, but she needs to be sure she keeps that in check the rest of the time. Trump, on the other hand, just wants to rile up his base and be the strongman, hiding behind the power of the president.
I was really hoping he was going to bring up “Papa Bear” Bill O’Reilly’s bizarre tweet during the debate that “all companies” require NDAs for women. No, Billo, just the ones that’ll hire you.
I'm a male and I signed plenty of NDAs. It just depends on the industry really.

Warren energized her campaign with a super PAC, and steven Colbert had a lot to say about those back in the day
Warren had a lot to say about PACs just days before she ran out of her left over Raytheon money from her last senate race.
@Ian Baker: That's a fair point that deserves discussion, but not every joke or show needs to cover every topic.
PACs are part of the broader problem of campaign finance. We can't expect unilateral disarmament from candidates. Campaign finance reform has to apply to all candidates; it can't be a mere option that confers only disadvantages.
@@ncooty I might agree with you if Warren didn't try to smear Bernie Sanders for taking money from organizations she had also taken money from then days later formed a super PAC of her own. The honest fact is her campaign is failing and she has sold out on her values as a result of her inability to make a successful showing and lack of grassroots support.
@Dan A: Those are all fair points. I haven't looked into those specific allegations, because they're inconsequential to my support. I.e., I have what I consider more important reservations/ criticisms of Warren than this. Of course, no nominee (or person) is perfect.
That said, I haven't seen or heard anything _remotely_ significant enough to convince me to vote for Trump rather than the Democrats' eventual nominee.
@@ncooty who said anything about trump? It is time to pick the best nominee for the Democratic party not to hold your noise and vote against trump. But that said I don't want to think about Bloomberg vs Trump. The last thing we need is two old racist billionaire olargachs to pick from.

There is exactly a snowball's chance in hell that Warren will ever make Trump look bad. Everything she stands for is exactly what Trump supporters hate. I am not a Trump supporter but, if people can't see that she is nothing more than Clinton 2.0 then we are doomed for another four years of Trump. She made herself look like a fool going after Blomberg. She made Bloomberg look presidential in the eyes of Trump supporters... and frankly, right now, that is all that matters.

US intelligence agencies just said they've concluded that the Russians are supporting Bernie because Putin has determined that Bernie sucks as a candidate and he'll lose to Trump, yet all these people who were up in arms about Trump's Russia scandal (including Colbert himself) still want to vote for Bernie? @@willritter4076 I thought they were supporting Bernie cause he would further tear apart the country. It would be going from one extreme to the other. Keep the masses fighting. But that was really more of a theory as to why they are trying to help Bernie.
Here's a secret, they're all Trumpies except Sanders.
As in, the people backing Trump are also backing the sellouts: Biden/Bloomberg/Warren/Buttigieg. Its all about the corporate overlords using money to pull the establishment's strings. The only candidate that can't be bought is Bernie.
I laughed at the short jokes the first time around, but then noticed how offensive they actually are and, most importantly, they take away from the important aspects of a candidate.
Oh FFS, here we go with the woke outrage. Must you people suck the humor out of everything?
Jay Zenitram idk, if it was a couple then yeah who cares, but every time someone talks about Bloomberg or Buttigieg they make short jokes. I mean what does a person’s physical appearance have to do with anything? They are presidential candidates, America needs to wake up and pay attention to what actually matters. It strikes me as pretty juvenile.
I get the criticism that this is political correctness gone too far etc etc. but actually shorter people are less likely to be ceos and hold positions of power, less likely to receive a tertiary education, on average earn less that average and above average height individuals. Height discrimination is real, I just think that is incredibly stupid, and when there are so many valid criticisms of Bloomberg, why would his height come up so frequently?

Honestly, don't celebrate too early. Until one candidate has more than 50% of the votes, there is no telling who will win. Duh.
Thanks bud...
Liz fired on him twice 😂😂😂... hope she leaves him incapacitated by the end of tonight
After a screenshot and quick zoom, I noticed that the Buzz Aldrin paper actually has the transcript of communication from Tranquility Base and the other side has Armstrong's first steps and words from the surface. LSSC's attention to detail rocks.
He's a pinata alright... full of centrist candy .. lots of calories and promise.. but no nutrition..
💯😂
Did you mean “piñata”?
Maybe he’d be good for a cabinet post.

@@Chunkboi He can join Trump.. :)
So it’s ok to make fun of short people now? Just asking
Luigi Oppedisano yeah, that rubbed me the wrong way, even though I dont care for bloomberg. Theres plenty of things he can help to point to.
Imagine if Bloomberg had anything to say about her appearance, media meltdown
Yikes. Bloomberg may have just waived his NDAs by his response. He should probably get some attorneys on this...
Go Mike Haha lol!
I know her shade is what gets the most media coverage, but let's not forget that she has the strongest strategies to get progressive policies in place. Perfect balance of showmanship and substance.
Too bad she has no chance at all. She underperformed all 3 early states so far, amd theres no indication she will do any better.
I don't like Bloomberg but I think they should attack him more on his self-perceived billionaire entitlement to the Presidency and his shady past than his height. Otherwise, you all sound like the bully Trump!
yup, very hypocritical. Why keep mentioning his height? then get offended when men call women wide?? Attack his arrogance, and his integrity not his height smh. source am short
You notice that too. All courtesy has left the political theater and they now smear and pummel one another as if that's substance. Of course, Trump was the instigator of this trash talking political climate and the electorate is drifting into this muddy territory. Bully politics is now our norm.
@@monilein1877 Your biased opinion.
She criticizes him for making fat jokes about women but then she makes a height joke about him. Now that's a chin stroker...
Mikey's NEW ad is full of compliments from women. His people DO work fast... I give them that...
Well, that "reenergizement" didn't help in Nevada. Maybe next time.
Most had already voted there!
I love Warren. My dream ticket is still Warren/Abrahms (or Abrams/Warren if Stacy was running).
“I’m not owned! I’m not owned!” Bloomberg continues to insist as he shrinks and slowly turns into a raisin.
Do I have to sign the NDA if I'm neither in the audience, not watching non tv? 🤔 I watched on phone, instead 📱
Almost as if Bernie doesn't exist. Good joke Steve. Maybe it's coming up in another clip??
Maybe this is a fuckin comedy show, not the news?!
@@m.d.4231 are you being dense on purpose? It's a comedy show ABOUT politics lol. Jamie's question is completely valid.
M. D. True, but the term “Bernie Blackout” didn’t come around because of alliteration. “The news” would go as far as not putting his name on the polls he was on top of.
I think his socialist ideas are scaring people. Everyone’s so fucking caught up in what other people have and get, and what they should get and deserve.
I believe that there’s plenty to go around, we produce more food than is needed to feed the planet but yet so much of it is wasted because no one buys it.
People would rather let food go bad and not make money on it then give it to people who could eat it.
And yes there are caveats to that, where people, companies, and organizations have tried to get that would be wasted food into hungry mouths. But unfortunately people take advantage of that and bite the hand that’s literally trying to feed them.
And for a one payer healthcare system, want to know who loses out on that deal? Insurance companies. Companies that are supposed to make access to healthcare easier but are usually the BIGGEST hurdles to overcome when getting care.
Why do they exist? They’re basically gambling houses playing odds on people’s health for profit. If you don’t use it they win, if you use it too much they fucking raise your fees or just cut you. That’s assuming you don’t have an illness that requires treatment that isn’t covered in the first place.
Why not take all the insurance money we already pay put it towards a national healthcare coverage plan so anyone can go see any doctor anywhere.
FFS just let me pay my taxes and go see a doctor why does someone other than the medical staff make any money of me getting a fucking cold checked out.

@The Dream THIS is NOT the Colbert Report. Stop looking for political coverage from a late night show!
@The Dream Why are u expecting a comedy show to prop up a specific candidate in every sketch?!
It’s pathetic that Bloomberg is criticized for his height. Grow up people. I can’t stand the man myself but not for that reason.
_"Grow up people"_
🤣 Clearly not the best choice of words
Ralph Arambe good point 😎
"After her debate performance, Warren's campaign announced they had raised $2.8 million in one day." They also announced that Bloomberg was so impressed that half of that was donated by Bloomberg himself.
"Wow, that was brutal." -- Mo Lewis
Praising warren for her underwhelming results and not so subtle attacks on bernie in monologue. Could Colbert be more obvious?
Colbert is pathetic at this point
do you really need to make fun of short people? you're better than that.. there's plenty of things to say about Bloomberg without referring to a physical attribute.
"We know you weren't taking about Trump, because you said billionaire," fucking EXCELLENT, Colbert.
Says a lot about how much time you wasted playing M&B when you remember looters every time someone says ''tear him limb for limb''...
Could she beat Trump? The answer is probably not. Thats all anyone needs to think about. Bernie can beat Trump and make America great for all Americans.
Nah lol, I think she can best Trump. But Bernie beats him more and he’s more integer, judging by her attacks on Bernie. So obviously Bernie is who you need to make the nominee, but Warren would be, with a large gap, the second best choice currently available.
@@sweeney7163 I must admit looking at the other candidates, there is not much else to choose from.
Bernie can't beat Trump!!! If Bernie wins, so will Trump.
@Dahn oh, ok!!🤣🤣🤣
beanschop I mean every poll shows Sanders has the best shot at beating trump so you are either a liar or dumb.
Biggest media snub? Warren??? Dude look at how Bernie was treated in the beginning of the cycle.
He still is snobbed only now that he keeps winning they can't just not mention him. Also, he's "evil communist"

Jacob B Walters eat shit dude how’s that for a bot u hack
Notice the rich folks that back Bloomberg in the audience that didn’t cheer very often?
When your system used to find a manager involves prioritizing those
who can beg the most cash and then spend it on endless TV ads,
as opposed to good ideas and solutions to the issues.
Expect to hire people who do not value money or spend it wisely.
Bernie 2020. Bend the knee Steven.
Elizabeth did good, however Bernie Sanders is now the clear choice.
She's better at WWF smackdown. That kind of verbal bodyslam doesn't belong on a debate stage.
@@DargorV Wow the gloves are off ,its getting brutal!
He's just the in thing right now and a pale imitation of Warren.
Pocahontas will scalp bernie tonight.
@@MrAitraining hehehe

Man. Bloomberg adds to watch this made it even funnier
What's it about the US that people find insults so great? I'm absolutely against Bloomberg - but going on about his size is really lame. Leave that to Trump.
@ Aljoscha Long RIGHT, Aljosha.
Also.... they MUST stop fighting each other (especially on such low level)
They are lacerating each other and the orange thing is laughing … all the way to his bank.
"Advantage"
I agree. I'm all for Warren tearing Bloomberg limb from limb for his horrible policies and conduct with women and people of color, but I don't like bringing his appearance into it. His height is not his fault (well, "fault" is not exactly the right word, as there's nothing wrong with being short). Stop and frisk is his fault, and let's focus on things like that.
Because we’ve been conditioned to respond to entertainment and fast food rather than critical thought and idea.
@LoriGoshert Perfekt answer.
*THANK YOU, Lori*
@ChrisMarkham *that´s IT*, Chris
I was really frustrated that Warren didn't run in 2016 and I was glad to see her enter the 2020 race, but I've been dismayed to see her indulge so much in identity politics. The last straw for me was her oblique, vague attempted allegation of sexism against Sanders.
Separately, although I dislike Bloomberg as a candidate, Warren's "not a tall one" joke seemed cheap and petty.
ncooty talk about a bad strategy. Hiring Obama, kamala and Clinton staff members pushing identity politics and flip flopping on the progressive agenda that energized her likability in the first place. “Im with her” “she persisted”
You have to have a nondisclosure agreement for telling jokes?
Guess the Senator from Vermont isn't the only "Bern"... "BURRRRRN!!"
