    Absolutely beautiful job! Just wondering if you paint the area being tiled with a hydroban prior to applying the thin set and tile.?? Thank you, Impeccable work!

      Doesn’t look like they waterproofed it, and cheap tiles going back in…

    So you don’t have to use homasote boards if you make that cut with the angle grinder?

    Hello , my pool contractor installed glass tiles without a trim for the Jacuzzi. Please let me know if he can install the trim after or he needs to redo the whole thing again to be done properly ? Where are you located ?

    Hi, do you use normal tile cement, or a waterproof cement? I own a renovation company and we don't actually do pool tiles, but we got a job to retile a pool, i am just not sure about what tipe of cement to use

    What did you use to get the existing thinset off? And do you have to make sure you get it all off or can you lay over the top as long as it’s fairly and flat?

    What brand of thinset did you use? Laticrete 254? I know the thinset needs to be able to withstand being underwater. Just curious what brand you used?

      Do you use the Hydroban on the bondbeam first then the laticrete thinset? Or how do you waterproof the bondbeam? You do not tile over plaster?

    Nice job! Is it ok to bead blast glass tiles like that?

    • @bcspools
      @bcspools  Před 6 lety +1

      Hi David, thanks!
      Yes, you can blast the glass tile like that in the case that you are doing a demolition. Just make sure to use safety equipment to protect yourself since glass goes everywhere. Also, in this particular case, we did it like that because the pool was so deep and we couldn’t use the jackhammer.
      Thank you for your comment & question!

      Hi David!
      The tile is from NPT - the Equinox series (Icy Teal).
      I have linked it below.
