It was awesome to see sting to come out on stage and perform with no doubt for a cover of Message in a Bottle but seeing sting perform his song with them take me back to the 80s the police is well best of times thanks for posting this video

Adrian did a fabulous job channeling his inner Stewart Copeland here.. I know no one could come close to Stewart himself but I think even Adrian knew he pulled it off..

stereopolice well his drums arent anywhere near tuned like Stewarts, which plays a big part in his snappy tone

I admire those who TRY. . Taylor Hawking (foo Fighters) didn't even try on this song. But THIS version HAD some Copeland trademarks. How do you play like Copeland asked a young man at a clinic ... the guest answer .. "well you first FORGET ALL about drumming" Copeland can not explain Copeland . In fact he uses terminologies that are foreign to standard music description . Stewart claims HIS secret is (he says) "I play IN FRONT of the music . So if you translate that he claims he does not play a typical backbeat or even on-beat he plays ahead of the melody . if you listen carefully he IS but a great deal if missing blurs that cross-beat or hyperbeat . BUT watch Stewart LIVE. He is DRIVING the song not backing the song.According to him is a foreign ruthm similar to Ragae and other caribbean grooves . BUT Mr. Stewart never knew he was doing it and that is a credit to his band mates ...... who ARE fucking amazing

I've been drinking tonight, love gwen especially the early years - no doubt like aladdin, ghost town, I saw red, sublime cover and specials cover - djs, trapped in a box, everything wrong, total hate, squeal, all of her stuff ( especially 86 - 2000 no dought) even there newest album (get in line🤣 and do you think I'm hot🔥). What's your fucking attitude 🤣🤟✌️😃😘😜😏🤭🤫🤗She is my wonder woman🙄, especially early no doubt - 86 and on. Then came aimee Allen but gwens the Queen and aimee has a crown in the crowd as well 🤗 🌠🌟💛🤟✌️

I hate when bands collaborate on a classic. It usually winds up pretty weak.The drummer did a good job,the guitarist had to be onstage by default,but Gwen and the other dude should have taken a break and had some cupcakes backstage.
