I knew Johnny Sins had strong bonds with music. Kidding man, great reaction, cheers!
Luke and Jason just blow my mind, Check out "Hos Down" with Luke, Jason and Rick Graham if you get a chance. Really enjoyed your knowledgeable commentary! peace
Thanks, I will check it out!
You need to check out Chris Turner's 40 roll. Those kicks man.
Excellent reaction narration, Mike.
This guy just rocks me - I hear his playing in my head like an earworm.
He does phrases, not just fills…
Hey man I watch a bunch of drum reaction videos and I think you have the perfect combination of letting the video play, good commentary, and exciting reactions. Props dude!
Definitely check out more of Luke’s drumming. He always has amazing combinations and is crafty with a smaller kit.
"Man, the guitarist is really good too." Honestly.... I wouldn't be surprised if that's the first time any has ever said it that way lol. Usually I feel like Jason overshadows luke in this song, because... Well, he's Jason.
Lmao he said that and I laughed out loud. Understatement of the year
Luke is insane, that stack on his far right is his signature bullet stack :)
Thanks for the info Daniel (I know you’re a Zildjian guy), good to hear from you brother. I hope you are well.
@@MikeLevitsky welcome! Zildjian all the way for me. However, that stack is definitely Lukes sound for sure :). You as well!
Great video great music song drummer. 👍 good show
Mirrors is a great track from this album and you get to see him play on a bigger kit, which is rare for his play throughs.
Also, I think he recently pointed out that this is the only DW Collectors in existence with rose gold hardware.
Loved the reaction video, Mike. Really enjoyed all your technical commentary about Luke's playing. Would love to see you react to Chris Turner - "40 Roll"!
Ha, I'd love to see him watch Turner. If not just to see what he'd say about his posture, lol.
Loved it!
Thanks, great track!
Never heard sextuplets referred to as a 16th note triplets before.... makes sense.
Love your reacts. Really insightful and helping an aspiring drummer. There's 2 song i would love for you to check out. The drum playthrough of demolisher from slaughter to prevail. And the one im just in awe of chris turner-40 roll.
Definitely worth checking out Matt Garstka (sp?) and his playthroughs of Animals as Leaders songs. Songs like Lippincott and Physical Education are good starts.
That dude is a beast! Holy moly!
So much energy, and it doesn't even look like he is trying!
jason and luke are gods
Awesome!
Agreed!
Would love to see you react to Meshuggah - Bleed (Thomas haake drum cam). 👍
I will check it out, someone else also recommended another meshuggah track.
Luke has his own 'signature stack' from Meinel
Pls react to Hannes V Drumsolo!
Wow this got a lot of likes, I will can you drop me a link to a specific video?
Chris Turner - High Horse (Vic Firth) you'd love this if you're into some saucy syncopations and modulations!
He's one of the best prog/metalcore drummers right now
REACTION TO CHRIS TURNER!!! AMAZING DRUMMER!! HE'LL BLOW YOUR MIND!
His new solo project "40 Roll" or any drum videos from his band Oceans Ate Alaska!!! Recommend that song "Escapist"
Thanks, 40 roll is on my list, I will also add Escapist.
The Art of Dying by Gojira
Duuuuuude that 05:23 technical!!!
What kind of wizardry is this!!!?
video starts at 2:20
Did anyone notice that his eyes are open for like 3.4 seconds combined
If i remember correctly, when they recorded this it only took one or two takes to get the drums down. completely absurd.
Luke, oh Luke
Welp better sell all my gear and start up a different hobby lol!
Juuuuust kidding! Great video🤘
HA! Thanks, his playing is pretty crazy, I’m tempted to buy the transcription and work it out, but I’m not much of a double bass player. That would be super hard, we’ll see. Maybe in a year I could work it up.
Check out Chris Turner if you liked this video. Chris is a literal machine and can do his drum parts in one take and live.
They actually had to find a drummer that can keep up with Jason.. I can only think of a couple that could fill that spot
The best duet no one asked
"The whole piece is based of 16 notes" -Mike
"What's a 16th note? I only know 32nd and 64th" - Jason
Do Dirty Loops - work shit out!
Can we just stop and remember this song is written at 200 BPM, his calves... bruh...
173
@@Indigo16 200 on the GP tab I have... either way. 173 or 200... his calves bruh lol
@@TheRedAnvil40 his calves bruh 😉
Obligatory johnny sins joke here
