Very similar to the Ruiz 2 situation… had all these guys around him, but when he lost it was all on him, many people left him when he took that loss! Now it seems like he’s adopted that mindset of “I have to back myself”

He backs himself and feels confident in what he does... even lost but still came back and believed he would win. Come the rematch of the Usyk fight, that mentality will come and kick in, and we will see a proper fight
Out of all of AJs opponents Dillian knows how to push Anthony buttons the most , it be so interesting too see them fight each other again in their careers

@@buffalosowljah373 before Ruiz... he was undefeated.. as soon as u lose the first time, it affects going forward. His career is nothing short of brilliant, yes the loss was a shock, but he's lived with it. and moved on to better things, id say now AJ could just about beat anyone, should all the training be correct. The only contenders id see beating AJ is Tyson Fury and Usyk (on the rematch aswell)

I do think Haye would have won at the time, these days though Haye is too old & Fury has improved a ton.
@Harvey Smith Fury always getting dropped by cruiseweights, haye was a heavy cruiseweight and skilled in movement at his best he would have given tyson all types of issues, fury would have to aim down alot because of the height difference, haye would be moving his head looking to counter. Slips a fury shot and crack him, of course fury would bring the fight but at this point he was a heavyweight 250+lbs and not a super heavyweight like now (277lbs) so his power wasn't all there, and his chin was weaker, the extra size is what helps him, even wilder knocked him out when he was last a real heavyweight size.
