What a great way to wake up this morning! This quality of God has really hit me lately. I was cleaning out some boxes of papers and came across things I had written when I first got saved, now more than 30 years ago. It was amazing to read and realize that God is the same now as He was then. And though so many things have changed in my life, people have come and gone, that He has been with me all these years!

God is not only completely unchanging, but he actually invented and created time. There is no way that he will be subject to something he created.
What about Jesus saying God forgives everything yet the 10 Commandments saying God will not forgive taking God’s name in vain?
Except grieving the Holy Spirit. Read all of what he says not just part.
All your sins are forgiven in Christ if you repent and submit your life to Christ. So yes...the 10 commandments are God's law and they are a mirror held up to each one of us where we see we are sinners in need of a Savior. God's provision is Jesus Christ Who is the way, the truth and the life.
How easy to give a message like this in such a setting, how about in a different setting such like in India or China where the church is being persecuted

No matter what I endure as a believer God never changes. His Word is reliable. The persecution of the church is expected...the world hated Jesus and it will hate His followers.
I was raised with the once saved always saved premise, but I've since had to change to fit the word. Hebrews 6 clearly shows you can lose your salvation. It repeatedly says those who persevere to the end will be saved. I'd rather it be true, but I fear it isn't.
