MY LONGEST WHEELIE EVER!!

- I decided to put my wheelie skills to the test and see how far I could travel on the rear wheel! This challenge was not going to be easy as I live in a city and trying to think of a route that avoided busy roads and really technical corners was not easy! I also was not sure how much distance I would cover making the route difficult to predict once again.
I am using my Haibike ALLMTN 7 carbon fibre EMTB for this challenge, I pumped the rear tyre up to 60psi to reduce drag and add stability. I also pumped the rear shock up too.
The wheelie is a basic MTB trick and one that is worth learning if you are a beginner or advanced MTB rider!

Dont want to brake the party here but youtube for jake100 or littleharry, or rj or american rrdblock. You guys are overall fantastic riders but in the wheelie game there are young kids that are flowing trough the traffic like they are from some another planet. They also making no foot manuals 70 kmh and the best is, they are your neighbors :D
Fun fact. World record for the longest wheelie is currently sitting at 50.5 miles and took 4 hours 10 minutes.

Only taught myself to wheelie a few years ago after riding mtbs for 20 years... my longest so far is almost 4 mins - could have gone longer but ran out of road! Yours was super impressive just for the obstacles you had to dodge!

Fair play mate that was insane 👏 On an ebike too, I used to be able to wheelie for ages on my normal mtb but struggle to keep it going on my eeb.

that was impressive, my fav segment was the lake crossing..
*20:24 that pain is something else, it's a stimuli overload: constant pressure and cold slowly reduces circulation and nerve conduction so when things get back to normal the nerve sensibility is turned up to 11. it also takes a while to recover, it's quite trippy :}
I remember a very young Tom at about 12-13, practicing these with us at the church car park! A blue Kona comes to mind too!

Not only is this incredible but on British roads 😂 I wonder if you could smash an even crazier time on a closed circuit or something and aim for a record. Your control is insane not to mention how you can do this for so long, I know some records can’t be beat but this is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen

My longest wheelie was only 3-4 minutes, but my excuse is that all the roads in my community are either filled with cars, turns, or hills which means that if I run out of road, I have to turn around and climb back up the road while wheeling. Or maybe I'm just weak lol

just a thought, is there a non-stop cycleway near you that you could try it at? not as wide as a road but no traffic or major turns to worry about. fabio had the advantage of not having to turn many corners nor negotiate much traffic
