Great drawing! You really baffle me every time you draw comic characters. Why spend 70 dollars, if you could spend - I don't know - 10 dollars and get a metal mechanical pencil that doesn't roll either and has the weight you're looking for~

I think this really goes to show that the best pencil is just the one you’re the most comfortable with. Me personally I don’t like wooden pencils because you have to sharpen them, which creates a mess. Mechanical pencils don’t need sharpened and keep a fine point the whole time you use it, so for me they’re better suited what I do. I even just go to my local Dollar Tree and buy a 4 pack of mechanical pencils with rubber grips. The lead button is also on the grip right next to my fingers, so I don’t even need to shift my grip to get more lead. I can also replace the normal eraser with a triangle shaped eraser cap, and I can’t suggest eraser caps enough because they last longer, they have points that let you erase fine detail, and they’re easily replaceable and not hard to remove when almost unusable like the normal erasers. This artwork not only showed each pencil has its pros and cons, but it looks frickin fantastic. Excellent job
The fact that this much talent is crammed into one person is just unbelievable. Not only are you insanely talented but you make your videos very fun and entertaining. Keep up the good work!!

Honestly, i like the 1$ cuz it's having texture and looks dark and nice. Tho your skills are what making the drawing very nice. Maybe awesome, no words to express the artwork.
The $70 pencil looks lighter but smoother. Very cool that you did one on pencils. I would choose the cheaper ones lol I did my very first marker mashup video where I pit the Firefly cheap alcohol markers with the Copics. :)
One thing is that the H in HB means that it is a hard cored pencil and that the B means that the shading would be constantly a metalic black instead of being more of a metalic sliver
To tell you the truth, I couldn't see any difference between them worth talking about. :-) Over the years of being an artist myself, I've bought many various 'rich to the pocket' pens and Pencils. Mostly, I find it's down to personal taste. ( I won't even start on the many kinds and makes of paper I've been through :-}) I love to use graphite, and watercolour paints and Pencils. However, I will try most mediums, that's how you grow as an artist. I also love finding a real gem of an art medium.. Great drawing. Cheers! 🇬🇧😀
One of the best pencils I ever had was a tiny golf course pencil with super thick lead. It was probably a #2 HB, but the bigger diameter lead made shading large areas super easy.
Great video, Awsome drawing. I think the left side $1:00 pencil, you got more of a darker look when wanting so. Mechanical pencils can sometimes scratch the paper & you won't get darker like you can with a regular pencil. PS, how is your jaw??? & do you talk this fast when you are at home with your wife? lol respect mate, Mel from Oz 😉

I can get great mechanical pencils that are comfortable to hold at my dollar store. I've actually bought several and filled them with the coloured mechanical pencil lead by uni. It's really nice lead that acts like graphite, but is coloured. So I can erase and blend like graphite, and colour blend like coloured pencils, I usually use them for sketches under transparent mediums like alcohol markers and watercolor.
Considering my tendency to constantly have my head in the clouds, I fear the seventy dollar pencil would not last long in my care. Also, I don't have your talent. So, for me, I'd probably have to go with the cheapie pencil. I think both sides of your drawing look great. 😃
I think the 70 dollar one looks better but is not worth 70 compared to the one dollar one. BTW ADCArtAttack, great drawing. Absoloutely loved it. You adapted to each different pencil really well
I love your chanel so much and i have been so inspired by your chanel have wached at you for almost 2 years now Btw i think that batman would win becase he have more experience then spiderman
No prep, random meeting between Batman and Spider-Man with both on top of their game that day, Spider-Man wins 9/10 times if they're both going all out. If Batman is able to prep for the encounter he may be able to devise a way to win.
If you want a sharpenable mechanical pencil, look into drafting pencils (aka lead holders). The leads tend to be thicker (2mm) that you sharpen in a vertical mechanical sharpener. You get the feel, weight, control and reusable lead of a mechanical pencil but can still get super sharp points, dull points, varied line thickness, and side shading.
I think if you're a perfectionist and you want to get into art, but you're not used to switching from pencil to pencil the concrete pencil ($70) might just be right for you. Now if you've been into art for a long time and you can deal with switching from pencil to pencil, you can literally have all the different and unique types of pencils just for your art, go for it. but the $1 pencil's use may be good for shading or far distances at night.
Love the drawing! The $70 pencil isn't 140x better (2 pencils for $1 = 50c per pencil, like you said :) ). The mechanical pencil looks smoother, but is much lighter; you could achieve the same smoothness by blending, as you said, and using a kneadable eraser. Batman would win the fight, no matter the opponent. He not only has plans for every eventuality, his contingencies have contingencies, not to mention his gadgets, intellect and combat skill.
Simply amazing. You inspired me to start drawing again, after half a year of not touching my pencil and paper. Even got me into coloring my drawings. I do have a question though. Whenever I start to color my drawings (I do have a set of promarkers) the bleeding causes me headaches 😅. What paper is the best to use markers, in your opinion. Thanks in advance.
I'm not gonna lie. The $70 pencil side looks smoother to me and lines cleaner. I wouldn't pay $70 for any pencil but I think the issue was simply that it was a mechanical pencil versus a wooden pencil. I would have loved to see this drawing colored with markers too.
Color me intrigued. I'd love to try out that $70 pencil, not sure I'd want to actually drop $70 on it, though. Both sides of the drawing came out fantastic though.
I'm perfectly happy with my 3.00 mechanical pencils. I feel in your video the mechanical was smoother but, the cheap pencil was heavier and was more perfect for batman.

And they usually less than $20..
Depends on which suit batman uses
So cool man, keep up the grind
I actually really like the drawing of Batman. Good stuff.
💖💕❤
Yes! Was wondering when the next video was coming lol good stuff.
👍️❤Your video is very good. It's amazing to make such a wonderful video.❤️ I was very happy to see your video. ️❤
You could say that price was jaw dropping! ;)
When youre early and you dont know what to say except hi
Well, HI :)
Good video
I’d like the $70 pencil if it wasn’t so pricey i like that smooth effect it gives
Nice way to starting my day... sick.
The video did make me feel better already, and I learned some tips! ;p
I don’t even like drawling but I watch this
Love the drawing!
The one dollar one looks badass
Concrete pencil would make a nice gift for an appreciated artist, but I would never purchase one for my own use.
I love wide angle pencil sharpeners.
Color me intrigued. I'd love to try out that $70 pencil, not sure I'd want to actually drop $70 on it, though. Both sides of the drawing came out fantastic though.
Great video and Great nusic in this vid as well. Perfect for doing Art!
Nope if I buy $70 dollar pencil or $1 dollar pencil . It will still be ugly cause u know my drawing bad and yours is nice and it’s is an A+

I'm perfectly happy with my 3.00 mechanical pencils. I feel in your video the mechanical was smoother but, the cheap pencil was heavier and was more perfect for batman.
I would love to have that drawing actually.
