Learn about what makes the Monterey Bay one of the top diving destinations in the world. Produced by the City of Monterey Directed by Eric Palmer Featuring music by Josh Woodward joshwoodward.com
The Monterrey Bay Aquarium is linked in the report, Reflections on community integration in rural communities in upstate New York (Racino, 2014) with California a popular visitor (this video, scuba diving) and even West Coast relocation site (Florida, also popular for warm weather retirements or winter snowbirds). The report can be found on Squareup market/Community and policy studies together with reports such as Reflections on community integration in the USA and Great Britain in 1991 (Racino, 2013) Yes, disability to the community from the institutions started a movement called community integration and inclusion.
Beautiful! Is anybody aware if this areas reefs has suffered a significant decline in the past 7 years since this video was posted? I’m planning on getting my diving certification out in Cali this summer and I’m looking for good spots to dive around the Bay Area. I’m sure it’s still a cool spot regardless, but just thought I’d ask :)

i seen a lady die on the beach from i think it was called the benz or something they brought her to the beach and was doing cpr but she was gone it looked like her eyes were bleeding,it was sad R.I.P to that lady people go to be careful the ocean is NO joke, iveen fishing in the monterey and SF bay area and people from other states come here and dont realize how bad things can go.This guy i met his name was mike he was from seattle and he was saying how much nicer the ocean is here meaning how calm i told him its not like that all the time it could get really nasty but he kept telling me ive been doing this for 20 years and i said ok be careful well 2 days later it was calm he went out 45 miles looking for tuna maybe 50 miles not to sure well put it this way he barley got home alive his boat was badly damaged the swells were 20 footers every 15 seconds with whitecaps he said he never been so scared in his life and said he was lucky that he was going with the waves if he was going out he would be dead,so becareful around the bay area its no joke!
I love diving in the bay. Let's protect the Ocean. Nice work with the video.
My first dive, seventh grade, was at the Pacific Grove glass bottom boat pier. This is a well-produced, factual introduction to diving at Monterey.
Monterey Bay Scuba, Backscatter and Cannery Row Scuba !!! World class
Nice video. One of my favorite dive sites and where I got certified.
Woow beautiful place for scuba wish I can do a diving there one day! Thanks for sharing video
Beautiful! this is my dream!
This is awesome! I’m just now working on getting my cert but I thought I was out of hope for places to dive in the bay glad I found this
This is just like finding dory movie!!! The aquarium is where filmed it!!! 😃
And great white sharks
A fraction? Last time I went I remember went there being a pretty big diving community. Well, compared to where I live at least.
I love my city

Beautiful. Whats the best months to visit in terms of conditions/visibility?
Ido Kleinman---- late summer through early fall. Conditions change dramatically with tide changes

significant purple sea urchin infestation, they've been eating the kelp forests :(
What's the best dive center in Montetay Bay area?
Dudes hair at 2:37 tho lmao!! =p
I'd like to dive there in late Feb. Anyone see giant pacific octopus in that area?
Breakwater is where a lot of divers get certified, because if you can dive in Monterey, you can dive almost anywhere.
Wished they talked about how cold the water is, cuz it's very cold!
They did.
Ya get used to the cold water.
Is there sharks???
Anyone else here because of Daniel Kraus’s new novel!?
Why is it so green and murky? shouldn't it be clear and vibrant?

Great diving, music questionable. Why not try barbie girl by aqua.
Dangerous
i'll puke if i see one more dork flashing a hooked horn. the music sucks. too much face time. but some nice underwater footage. better luck next time.
