I know a lot of people don't like alchemy cards, and I do wish they had a separate alchemy and non-alchemy historic option. Personally I think a lot of the alchemy cards are actually really cool, the perpetual mechanic is super neat
It makes no sense to include alchemy in historic. I think alchemy is fine, but keep it in its own queue. Now there's alchemy and alchemy historic, and we lost pure historic.
Alchemy in brawl is fine I guess, being a chaotic casual format, but let's get back to basics with historic.

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t respect muxus much more than I do alchemy cards, they’re going to design cringe cast this and I win jumpstart cards and add them then may as well just add alchemy.
I generally think most alchemy cards are fine, my only gripes with them really come from historic brawl where having my commander perpetually lose all abilities or end up with perpetually 0 toughness feels *really* bad. Like sure it sucks if they spend removal on it every time I cast it, but when it's literally unplayable or has no effect, what am I supposed to do? There's no way to reverse those kinds of effects at that point.
@Red-Tower I don't play much historic brawl so I'd never run into that but yeah, that's actually a pretty situation. It'd be a little weird ruleswise but imo command zone should reset them
This deck looks a lot of fun, looks like I have to make another dope deck, and Crim's energy is top tier.
I agree Scars is a underated song, in my carthartic and epic libraries equally in my music collections but I think "Getting Away with Murder" is more the song for you here Crim my guy. B)
I remember people telling me questing beast was bad when it was first released. It was too expensive mana wise.
i had fun with this deck i subbed the 2 chevill for 1 eldritch evaluation and 1 gix yawgmoth preator. gix draws a lot of card in this deck. eldritch evalution came in clutch a few times

Phyresis Roach needs more love. I’ve been playing an alchemy deck since late in ONE built around Roach and it’s fun to play with and sometimes was even effective!

How about turning the ring against them crim, proliferate the heck out of their rings so their ring kills them faster. Counter any removal spells or other rings they try to replace them. If they dont have one donate your own to them.

I hate phyresis roach, because it could have been a cool paper card for commander if it just said 'insects you control have toxic 1'. Could utterly change my Zask deck if it weren't a made-up alchemy card.

Bro I can’t stand when people pack their decks with like 2 creatures and the rest removal. Like I get it’s a strat but like dude, actually try and build a synergistic deck and not just removal. It’s boring lol
There’s only 9 removal spells in the deck, 4 of which being synergistic (Drown in Ichor and Binding the Old Gods), that’s not that many
You mean control?... like one of the fundamental archetypes of the game...

I know it’s a part of that game and all but it can be boring to play against. I mean look at the win history of basically any control deck ever. They win through forfeit like 95% of the time
@@guilhermedasilva1795 I’ve got a against quite a few control decks that’s were able to control the board and play other spells than just destroying your board. I mean, I can say for sure though that I’m not the only one that gets annoyed playing against control, ESPECIALLY in a 1v1😅
