Great to see the sevens stars in there. Australia should do the same. Imagine a backline with Caslick, Nathan, Terita, and Maddie Levi.
Great execution of opportunities by the French team. Sadly the Welsh consistently delaying after the whistle blown for French penalties, holding the ball, kicking it away, etc.. was not good for the sport.
We’re going to see a match next week, I would imagine. Here’s hoping.

I would simply tell them that the player resources available to each team is ridiculously one sided, and the reality is that Wales were as good as they're ever gonna be at the last world cup.
I think these are part time amateur players. It would be the equivalent in football, of non-league players representing the national team in the Euro competition.
@@Stand663 The Welsh are professional now. They get paid to represent their nation and most play in the English Competition. They lack player numbers is all it is.
@@JaemanEdwards Well it should be a given they are paid when representing their country etc, but I don’t think the whole Welsh womens rugby structure itself is run on a full professional basis. England womens rugby itself only turned full time professional a few years ago, and working hard brings success and sponsorship. The Welsh have a ways to go and put more money into the Womens rugby. They deserve it. It will pay off in the end. The next generation will follow.

Some of the team are paid full time, some are part time.
I think they have 25 full time professionals.

No lack of heart by Wales but let's face it, the French are a metre faster, and at least 5% fitter and stronger. Wales currently could only expect to beat a French team having an off day.
Omg the Welsh rugby union need to professionalise their whole structure. You can’t be humiliated like this every game.

England can beat France playing fifteen-woman rugby, as well.
this year the 6 nations are basically 2 teams which doesn't bode well for entertainment

You should have seem some of yesterday’s restarts. They were generally 5-600m in front of the centre line.
Wooowww ... it was hardly over the line compared with many many others that are simply ignored by referees across the board.
The sanction would be the defending team having a choice of a scrum or kick retaken. I can't recall the last time I have seen a referee make such a call. It would be very rare indeed.
I bloody hate the bunker review system. Referees decision is final. Put the decision back in their hands, there were two clear reds imo, straight up no bend no mitigations what a load of bull. Hate the lack of transparency around bunker review.

France are good, but not good enough to beat The Red Roses. The England pack will have to work hard as they are too slow, but if they keep the ball and trundle down the park at 5 mph they can still score. The English backs are better than the French's.
I think England will try to play this new hot potato style that Mitchell is trying to instill, which will benefit France.

England beat Wales 59 - 3 last year. Have Wales improved or have England gotten worse? Judging by all of Wales performances throughout the 6 nations this year, they're actually worse than last year.

Well done France, some things really need to be worked on but I'm sure they'll be ready. The English women are on fire so anyone playing them need to bring their A game. Today was way too sloppy on both sides.
easiest way out is to always blame the ref
@steve-vc3wl Oh no, my team could have played a lot better and their defense was what saved them and gave them 40 points. They were incredibly sloppy on offense and if they play like this next week, England will cruise to victory. So nope, not putting it all on the ref but yes, she was sh***y.

By the rules those were both clear yellow cards and I'm surprised the second wasn't red.
@@gonzoraoul I agree with one yellow card but not with the other two that were handed out.
Owen Farrell can barrel into someone head on and get a yellow instead of a red, and then you have two yellow cards out of three here who were given only thanks to the "right" camera angles. Ok then.
