- This poured silver bar actually surprised me. I was very pleased with how the hammered and toned technique came out. In this video you'll see the technique from start to finish. It's only my second bar, but rather than playing it safe, I decided to experiment a bit. I saw a hammering technique shown by an awesome UK CZcamsr named @BackyardBullion and I really wanted to try it out. This video shows my attempt. As always, thanks for watching!

The great part about poured silver is that if you goof up too much- just melt it! I like that you are not afraid to try all sorts of different techniques out. Poure lines, hammering, toning and sanding all on one bar- way to go!
Thanks man! It’s been fun learning, making mistakes, learning from those, and ultimately being pleased with what I’ve created.
Great pour
Great job T !!!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
both are nice T.
Can’t wait to see this bar! Finally finished watching and those came out great T! I will be at your auction!

Thanks, you too Cason!
Nice piece! It's really nice to see someone making pours that are "different" from everyone else's pours. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you very much! Check out the car I made in last Sunday’s video!
Really nice pour lines. As well as the hammered look. Amazing for silver pour #2.

Hey T, I think it looks pretty good for your second poor. It has a lot of character to it.
Thanks!
Great job on the bar.
Thanks!!
Hey T you did a good job 👍. The hammered edges look like a Tombstone silver bar. Practice makes perfect but I do like these. Thankyou
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
Looks like fun! Cool video!! 👍
Thank you 🤗
That is a Beautiful Bar! You're definitely on to something. Keep up the good pours, T!
Thanks, will do! I might do one today, if I'm lucky!
Love..love...love the pour you did today! It has a petrified wood look to me and I also collect fossils so of course this is my favorite pour so far. I would be very interested in purchasing one but I'm not big into the live auction scene. So just let me know if you would like to sell one and shoot me a price.
I think it turned out pretty cool 😎
Thanks!
Turned out Great T!! 🔥

Looks so cool. Never heard of this technique!

Very cool! I really like what you’re doing! I just started pouring myself earlier this week, and I LOVE it. Beautiful pieces 🔥👏
It’s an awesome hobby!
Can't wait to see you master the hot water and liver of sulfer to make a rainbow toned bar
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
Very cool video, T! Great job on the pours and hammering that last bar! I’d certainly check out your auction as well! 👍🏻 👍🏻

Hi T, good job ... looks awesome my friend, looking like the tombstones bars. Have a great week
Sure does
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
Great video. Great job T.
I myself prefer the shiny look. 👍
Thanks 👍
Hi T, very very cool 😎. Stay strong brother 💪
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
Very nice! I like how the bar turned out.
Thank you! Cheers!
I love seeing a fellow NWI resident into the same stuff as myself!! Good video
Awesome! Thank you!
@@TtheSilverStacker Your welcome, keep up the good work!!!
I like the ripples of the pour....The hammer really looks cool! I wonder how the do the classic hammer look.
Sweet brother thumbs up
Thanks! Much appreciated!
Sweet looking bar for sure really like that hammered toned one for sure but that first bar has some sweet pour lines they both rock 👍
Right on. Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
The ripples on that bar are super cool man. I don't have any hand poured stuff except a small little button piece done by Rat Stack and I love it. Backyard Bullion is great too.
Thanks! I have a coin shop video premiering tomorrow at 8:30 AM (CT). Join me on the premiere! czcams.com/video/p9K-gvxSohA/video.html
Cool video brother. I’m liking both bars. I suggest stamping in the end in case you have to sand a lot changing the weight. T!!! 😎
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
That's an awesome/professional/creative bar. Didn't take you long to create a masterpiece. WOW
Thank you very much! It’s been fun learning to pour.
Much improved T. Ted Williams was an amazing baseball player. Born in San Diego, California. Back when California was the Golden State.
Yes. Half Mexican too (like me).
That turned out great.. I am from Indiana and would love to have that bar!
I may start selling by the end of the month. Keep watching. Thanks!!
Very impressive. You're definitely progressing at this fast. I think a little more hammering on the sides wouldn't hurt. But yeah, you're catching on quick.
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
Nice work. I like silver shiny but patina is nice too. Brown 3M Scotch-brite cloth might help with polishing the high spots while leaving the patina behind in the low areas. Just an idea.
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
Looks like damascus!
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
I've been waiting to watch this! I've been wanting to be a jewlrey maker when. I get old.. I want to make jewelry out of the silver I've stacked and the gold I've prospected and gems Ive found
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
Great video. For better control of your strike's use a rounded punch and a hammer, that will help control your strike. Use a soft pine board for the backing plate.
Thanks for the tip!
T: I could watch your pour videos all day. What a fascinating process you used and totally entertaining. What I really like is that you try to learn from the best and then you apply it to what you are doing. Great job! Cheers!
Wow, thank you! Much appreciated!
When it comes to baseball, I've got signed photos of Ernie Banks and Don Kessinger. Another great pour. We're gonna make it the gold depot in Crown Point at some point. The wife wants to see some of the shipwreck silver.
Very cool. Especially the Ernie Banks. That shipwreck stuff is cool!
Grew up in Portage! Cool to find a stacker close to me. Subbed!
Right on! I’ve been to a couple of coin shops in Portage.
Hey T! Cool looking bar! Give #0000 steel wool a try instead of sand paper. It almost helps polish a bit while taking the toning off. Great Job!
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
I like natural toning
Thanks
One of these days like after kids are gone ill use the shot to pour with
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
I prefer the 1st pour, but I like the 2nd bar also. I just like shiny Silver 🙂
Cool!
I'm from NW Indiana, too. Wouldn't mind getting one of those pieces from a fellow Region Rat!
Right on! A fellow Region Rat! I will likely be selling some by the end of the month.
Great Bar and the texture is super cool!! When using Liver of Sulfur make sure to have baking soda in water to stop the darkening and I always put it in hot soapy water after the baking soda. If you use 4 zero steel Wool you can get the shine back instead of using sandpaper
Thanks for the tips. I’m learning!
@@TtheSilverStacker No problem at all!! I started last year I think and I have learned some tricks so I am always willing to share if needed!! By the way the you are doing a great job. Remember it’s about having fun and knowing that every piece is different!!
Hey T! Really enjoying the range of techniques you’ve been experimenting with. That’s awesome that you’ve been able to connect with BYB. It’s great that he’s made himself available as a resource. I would definitely be interested in participating in a live auction. Would like to snag one of those rounds. Recently signed up as a new channel member! Happy to support your efforts! You certainly invest a great amount of time and energy in producing high quality content that’s educational, informative & a pleasure to view. Much appreciated!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Tony, thank you so much! I really appreciate the support!
It’s been fun trying these different Techniques.
BYB has been very cool.
I hope to make those channel rounds available by the end of the month.
The pounded one is cool. Heck, both are cool. But I like that hammered look though
Thanks Kirk!
T! Prefer the bar with the shiny finish and smooth sides…much more appealing.
Thanks for watching!
Place the ball pein hammer on the silver bar and hit it with the other hammer. More accuracy. Also could you try to darken just the sides? Just some food for thought. Cool pieces
I like those suggestions. Thanks!
Hey T! The hammered bar came out great. I think the tumble at the end improved the overall finish. Have you thought about doing like a chess set or something? So far I’m liking the bars more the. The coins and on both I like the toned finish. Maybe Sherrie can throw in a cool piece for the auction.
I haven’t really considered a chess set, but I have some other fun projects in mind. Thanks!
Can anyone tell me if a 2Ton Arbor Press will exert enough pressure to imprint into a .999 fine silver bar?
Yes. Silver is very malleable.
Is there a reason why you haven’t used silver shot?
I normally don’t find it at the coin shops I visit.
Why don't just tag it with 100 grams 🤣
Thanks! Here’s another video you might enjoy: czcams.com/video/_kqjKCqtMI4/video.html
