Oh shit...thank you for this. I mean it's situational but this cancel is amazing. The closest i got was spaming rakan's laugh during his w.
@@wat4504 you can input emotes during channels for maximum bm and it has actually been a way to cancel animations quite a while ago

@@wat4504 trynda E for example. used to be able to E, then laugh which canceled E animation and autoattack while in E.

The Trick: You need to buffer E2 so that Rakan walks to the target, then press W and E2 fast. If you do it too slow you wont cancel W. If you do it too fast you wont knock up with W but cancel it

I use shift+skill/spell. basically when your tp you can order to immediately flash or using other mechanics to dodge cc while tp into a fight is this still work or am i tripping with dota2

You can do the same with flash, hold your mouse where you want to go in advance, of course anticipate the range of flash and w to ensure you're on track. Press w and f at the same time and you will go to where you are aiming perfectly. All of rakan's abilities can be used in other ability's animations

Not really I don't really see a situation where this could be useful. I guess main purpose of this is to lower the risk but it requires that enemy is heavily surrounded so the risk is already very low
@@mifigor1935 I could see it happening during ganks, tp plays, chaotic teamfights. As for what its actual use is... well, it's a faster recovery from w, so I mean, it'll decrease the amount of time you're vulnerable to counter attacks/cc. Pretty niche, but I guess good to know if you're min/maxing your rakan mechanics

Actually, if you use his W against thick wall, he does the W animation against the wall, doesn't jump over it, but the knockup and damage will be used.
Just try it out, it's easiest on bot side against the wall from the river to top part.

Pro Tip: this "buffer" trick works for many many many champion abilities including Fiddlesticks' Q. Experiment.

Oh wow! That’s awesome! I don’t suppose Amumu has any tricks, since his kit is so simple. If he does, could you try him?
amumu main checking in, there truly aren’t many tricks up our mummy’s sleeve(s) but here are some simple ones i’ve picked up. you may know these already since they’re so simple but!
1. you can actually R flash as a surprise engage. R has a long enough cast time that, with enough practice, you can surprise enemy players who have their dashes/flashes ready.
2. if you Q and stopwatch, you can still drag yourself even in stasis. it’s a good way to put yourself in the middle of a team without getting blown up- just be ready to ult fast and let your team know you’re going in beforehand.
3. amumu Q doesn’t disappear even if you’re CC’d or die. plus, you can also act out of the dash portion. this means you can do things like Q+flash R to reposition yourself quickly, Q+rocketbelt to deal some crazy burst, or even something wild like Q+blast cone to isolate a target in a jungle fight! just remember that moving during it will cancel your flight, and that any actions you take will originate from wherever you are- not where your dash destination was. (ie, practice the Q flash R before doing it in game!)
and a minor tip: amumu R is both a stun AND a knockdown. this means that champs with jumps that they can buffer through cc (like jarvan, tristana, etc) are still stopped by your ult.

and i mean that things like flash, rocketbelt, blast cone, or other forms of displacement mean that your Q dash stops. it seems pretty obvious but i said it just for clarification- let’s say you Q and blast cone someone away, if your Q connects after the blast cone launches you it takes priority, but if your Q hits first the blast cone will cancel it.
