Thank you. I also set my home studio to live easy and be always ready to record. I am learning a lot from you, in 4 month after I updated my first video I get 4 millions views. Never been in front of a camera before in my life (only as singer), so I am improving looking at your contents.
I am using Galaxy S9 to record since I start 🙈 thieves stole my equipment, no mic even I have it.
Lights from Neewer.
I need a huge collabs now! Help 😄
Blue snowball ice black, logitech c270 and my pc wich is not very good tho
Think Media Hi Sean and thanks for sharing! I am wondering how channels that have live streaming music only like Relaxdaily or Soothing Relaxation, what kind of software they use, as it seams they are streaming 24/7 music - how do they go about creating a 24/7 stream with different music? (It’s their own music from their own channel, just in a live stream)
Hope you can clarify for me.
Best
Michael
I use the elgato cam link with my lumix g7 and my logitec c920 as a second camera. I have one camera on myself and one on any drum machines or synths I may be using. I use the behringer 1202USB mixer for audio because I can plug my microphone and drum machines into it and have multiple audio sources on the stream. I'm using vMix HD software to stream. Oh and I use a 20 dollar lamp that I bought on amazon for light on my face haha. Works well so far. 👍
I would love to see a review of the canon m200 for live stream, that’s the one I’m planning on
This is so great! Thank you. I needed to pick up a few of these items for my live streams. Love this so much.
Sean one of your best videos yet! Really cleared up a mystery for me, I just bought a new high end Nikon Z6 and was wondering how to start using it for live broadcasts, how to get video from camera to PC, even though my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone has been great on 4G network, The Nikon lenses, especially my new 50 mm 1.8 really takes it to a new level and tight depth of field separating me from the back ground. Your black magic card was the missing link for me. SUGGESTION for future video: Next you need to show us how to live stream with our camera when we are mobile, i.e. patch it through our smart phone to go live on CZcams. I take my phone into stores a lot and do product reviews live, but again, the Nikon would boost the quality into the stratosphere if I can figure out how to stream mobile with it. you'll get a million views off that one for sure.
Thanks Sean! This is really helpful. My high school students do a live daily broadcast in a pretty rad studio we out together, but my streaming setup at home is kind of a mess.
Sean, the biggest game-changer for me was going to a triple monitor setup. I started using this setup when I was getting my degree in Cybersecurity and wouldn't trade it for anything!
I love how clearly everything is laid out, so nice!
Did you do the storyboard for this one?
I love sony but the A5100 has overheating problems. I had to get rid of mine because of the overheating.
I absolutely love your videos! I have been studying your videos and making my own notes. Im going in full force this time 🤣 once I get the courage to talk to the camera... Wish me luck ❤️💛
Sean, I'm so nervous about the live stream! Thank you so much for explaining this technique! I will give it a try soon!
You'll do great, sometimes you gotta face the fear and do it anyways!
What camera/setup would you recommend to live stream (via zoom) a traditional class room. The camera I already have can't clearly show the projected text from the projector screen.
Thanks. Very helpful and on-point videos.
Sean this is one of the BEST live stream vids I've found. I enjoyed your others too, and I've checked out a lot of others but they don't really go into the details like you do! I am finding the livestream aspect quite intimidating to get set up, mostly because I'm on an older laptop now (5 years) that's really starting to show its age, and I don't have the budget to spend on setting up a new computer/camera etc! However, I am saving this video to my private playlist so I can refer back when I am able! Always appreciate your super helpful content, thank you my friend! 👊
Awesome video and we are so happy to watch your video and learn from you.
Sean is awesome! Think Media is one of the best channels around!
In your live stream, you do with streamyard.
When do you use streamyard and when you do vmix (if i am not mistaken that is what shown on this screen) ?
That is most insanely helpful video ever. LOV IT GREAT VIDEO. Gonna get everything lol
This is my fav video of yours. So much great content that I have rewatched several times. The shure mv51 is amazing, thanks!
Is there a boom arm that can connect to a pole? I have some space on a pole where I vesa mount one of my monitors.
Sean, do you know if vmix can accept more than one input on an interface? I am trying to connect OBS with my apollo x8p and only the fist input works. Thanks
Hey brother I have a question. I'm starting my own podcast and what I want to do is to do a Live podcast while going live on Twitch, Is that even possible and if so how do I go about it..
Excellent video, I was wondering how you moved so easily between presentations and live streaming, I also think it has to do with your skill you've developed over the years. Thanks so much for sharing this really helps
I recently just bought my equipment for starting a youtube channel. Thank you Sean for all of the videos and inspiration that you provide to all of us new creators!
Congrats on starting your channel! :)
Thanks for that, like most things production it can be as simple or as complex as you like, cheers for the insight.
Good video, I like how you explained mostly everything. One thing that has been disappointing is that I haven't seen anyone talk about the amount of RAM and stuff you need on a computer to edit videos and do other management of youtube videos. The process strains my computer and I didn't think I would need a bigger one to do this thing on youtube.
Hi, got a mirrorless Sony Alpha II, how do I use it for lengthy live fb yet this cameras can't shoot past 30 minutes ? One has to press the record button again and You don't wanna interrupt a live stream when started.
What setup would you recommend for 50-60 minute talks recorded in 1080p with a mic input jack ?
Thank you
How can I use my Canon Vixia HF G50 for live streaming at our church and how? Thanks
Your equipment list is so helpful, I will make a list for myself.
How to swich the camera? If we have 3 cameras fkr live stream?
hey guys, im trying to stream on my phone and I plugged in the 3.5mm audio cable and I can't hear the sound externally on my phone but on the livestream its there, but I wanna hear the music, any help?
I think it's really cool, you're using a different camera & camera angle showing what you'd normally be using as you face your computer. The triangular lighting setup behind your laptop is interesting. Very informative video topic, Thank You 👍
Will a laptop be able to handle the processing power of streaming instead of a desktop. The back drop where my PC is won't really suit.
Thank you. I want to broadcast and teach out in the field at historical sites. What do I need? From the simple, like noise-cancelling and keeping sound quality good without wind while filming on a phone, speaking with someone else, and up..
FANTASTIC! Love the right angle HDMI connector as I to have a GH5 as a webcam and been troubled by how to use the flip-out screen. THANK YOU SEAN! Cheers from #iSpike Western Australia
Great video Sean. Helped me out a lot. Thank you so much, and congrats on your success.
Bro...because of you, I'm about to hit 1k subs.
Thank you for all the great tips! 😎
RamB0T congraz
Congrats! That's amazing!
@@TimRoseOfficial ty
congrats dude! Love to see it
You made me start my channel this 2020. Can't wait to share my progress!
Thanks for all the great tips! I need to get into live streaming!
Do you need the capture card if an HDMI cord can plug directly into your laptop from your camera?
What are optimal settings on the Sony for live streaming? So many settings....
This may sound like a weird question but do you recommend Mac or PC to record and livestream? And what are the pros and cons for both?
So good! Love BTS as well as gear videos and this satisfied both of those desires! Thanks again for another great video!
Hi thanks for the great video: I just purchased the BLACKMAGIC Intensity Pro 4k card but I see that there's only one HDMI input. If i want to Live stream switching between 2 cameras is that not possible with this card?
Thanks
Craig
Hey man, would you be so kind enough to tell me what desk you use? It's been very frustrating for me finding a good one. Would really appreciate the help!
What about an hdmi port that's already on my laptop? I use it to output to an external monitor. Are those just for outputting to an external monitor or can they be used as an input for the gh5?
What sort of internet speed is required for a HD live streaming ? and what internet speeds do you have ?
Do we need any encoder to go live ? Because when i try going live things don't synch . Can you please help me with that....
can panasonic lumix gh5 provide audio through hdmi? i want to use it on liveu solo
Awesome tips, thank you letting us see behind the curtain
Wow, this is a lot! I started a bare bones live stream setup but my upload speed is only 0.5 MBPS, don't think I can do it from here. Within a year or so I should be able to go full time on CZcams, thinking of getting an office down in the city where I can link to high speed internet. At that point I'll build a full command center, probably will come back to this video and buy all this gear!
G'day mate. Greetings from Melbourne Australia. Just want to say that this video was absolutely AMAZING. It was exactly what I was looking for. BRILLIANT! IF and when I decide to set my kit up, this is what I was looking for. Thank you.
My videos have gotten so much better since discovering this channel. Thank you so much 🙏
Thanks for the feedback Justin - happy to help - keep building!
My camera video feed doesn’t show?? I’m using the M50, cam link and OBS, but getting no picture. Am I missing something? Using Mac book pro, with an adapter for the USB port. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help!
Thanks Sean! The info in this video is great!
What an awesome tutorial/infomercial!!! I learned a lot from this one. Thank you for sharing
how do you live stream an event and give a live feed of the streaming to an audience without any delay?
Can you have a second camera filming outside and use that feed for your background using your green screen? What tools do you have hooked to your computer and camera?
Love your clear descriptions & tips. Is there a software you'd recommend that automates camera switching in a natural/visually comfortable way? I'm starting to stream 5am fitness classes, solo. Looking for cohesive visual output that I don't have to be hands on - because I'll be away from cam doing the fitness instruction.
Perfect...just want I am looking for...you're the best! Thanks!
Happy to help Jeff - keep crushing it!
As a programmer, I’ve gotten used to having a 4 monitor desk (Viewsonic touch-screen TD2220s in a 2x2 configuration - I’ve had since 2013), which gives me a challenge in setting up a camera. I’ve stuck a Logitech web cam kind of in the middle - it works, and doesn’t obscure much screen real estate, but doesn’t give me the depth of field I want.
Did you use you Logitech for *this* video? How is it mounted? I’m in a smaller space but would still like that angle for being able to show the screen setup, have another viewpoint, etc.
Thanks for the info!
Awesome video Sean. Just became a follower lots of information that I was looking for.
Awesome , thank you!
I have a Sony A6100 that I have connected to my PC via an Elgato Game Capture 4k60 Pro MK.2. I don't know if this is possible, but I'm trying to output a live 4k feed from my camera to my PC. However, within my software, it says that I am only outputting 1080p footage. I have gone into my cameras settings and enabled 4k video, and I went into the cameras HDMI settings and forced it to transmit 1080p/4k (There's no option for just 4k). I also made sure that my micro HDMI cable supported 4k and it does. I'm assuming that the capture card is displaying the camera's touchscreen and not the actual image being produced straight out of the sensor? I'm also assuming that the camera's touchscreen is 1080p (can't find this info online). Do you know how to get the camera to feed 4k footage to my pc?
Quick question for you... I want to use the Canon SL3 for live streaming and web conferences. Legato says their cam link products are not compatible with the SL3 because the SL3 does not have an unlimited run-time due to this it will turn itself off to save power after a certain time of inactivity. Can you tell me what hook-up device you use to connect the SL3 to computer to facilitate live streaming?
So, you’re mentioning a video card at the beginning of the video and thumbnail is of a MacBook Pro?
Is this video targeting PC live streamers or MacOS?
Hi, does vmix work on zoom? I will like to have it but my connection are mostly going to be a zoom interaction. Thank you for helping
I bought a camera the other day and forgot a memory card. Can I record direct onto my laptop
Thanks Sean for all this useful & new information.
ThankThank you for this video :) I was able to focus my attention a bit better for vlogging I am going to do.
I will say, finding this channel was the best thing that ever happened to me. I haven't gained any subbs or anything, just general info is great. One thing I don't like is all the reuploads of the same info.
I’m looking to do live streaming and looking for a way to use possibly 2 cameras for different angles.I’m looking for a way to hook my cameras to my computer that won’t cost me an arm and a leg.
Any consideration for integrating the RODECaster Pro into your livestream setup? Any videos in which you have trialed it for live-streaming?
If I use Sony a6400 camera, which lens do you recommend for recording video like the way you use PANASONIC LUMIX GH5 and 12-35mm F2.8 Lens? Is there any Sony wide lens of f2.8 like Pana f2.8 lens? Thanks!
For the people who are starting out. Neewer is an amazing cost-benefit for your studio.
I’m curious to know if using Bluetooth headsets for live stream will have longer latency issues compared to using a wired headset especially if you are interviewing ppl ? Tks for my for you videos ! So helpful !!
Thanks for the helpful tips! Can you share the link to your desk? I’ve been trying to decide what to get and I like the one you are using.
Please tell us more about the microfone on your shirt. From where comes the audio in this video?
Thank you so much for this video. Lots of great info for a new streamer
Thank you Sean for your tip you are cool more accessories for live stream now 😉😉😀
Love the info you always put out...for us who want to grow a channel...!! Appreciate you..!!
Awesome work Sean! New to the channel, and now a fan.
I just want to do a basic talk show, So if I have Cannon HRF 800, El Gato, OBS, Lights and Samson G -Track Pro mic, is that enough? Thanks
Great resource thank you
Great video thank you for sharing this video with us lots of info.
Hi. What's that device you kept touching under the monitor? Don't think you mentioned it in the video. Thanks
Can I use my APS NIKON D5600 for this and must my PC be 4k compliance?
I am an absolute beginner this is too much for me right now but i love your presentation clarity and informative information if I had the money id just pay you to teach me everything in person i love your set up man damn id get this before i purchase a car its wonderful!
Hey Sean! where did you get this massive beautiful desk? perfect for editing/streaming
Great video, Sean. Lots of great ideas. At my church we Livestream the lectures using Wirecast, but we're starting a new live podcast with a video feed so I'll check out the vMix software and see if it might be a better solution. I'd love to start and end our Livestream with a short "bumper" video intro, and from what I just saw here it looks like it's easier to do that on vMix than Wirecast. Very cool. I'm going to share this with my other friends in the podcast.
I Have A Question...Can I use My Tv For Live Streaming? I Have A Custom Build PC Hooked Up To My Tv
Thank you Sir for helpful explanation 👍
Thanks for the video! As a new motivational CZcamsr. I need all the education I can get!! Thx Sean!
If I don't want the mic in the shot, shotgun? Small condenser? The one you are using still work?
Hi, quick question, if you're using V-mix what do you use the Stream deck for?
Question: If you are just using this kit for LiveStreaming or FB Live, do you need the capture card and SD cards?
sean i love your videos,i just started doing videos on my i phone . but wanted a nice mic and here you are. thank you
Hey Mark! Happy to help. Check out this video on smartphone mics czcams.com/video/fkRp-jKe-M0/video.html
Ty this has been very helpful n informative.
Wow! Thanks for sharing! Have a nice day everyone!
Hey there, loved this video. Would also love to know the exact discreet earphones you're using please? 🤗
i love the triangle light eye part hahahah thanks for the recommendation
Sean I just bought the canon m50 and I love it but notice static noise I was wondering if I should get the rode vidmic go the 99 dollar one or the 59 dollar smaller one with a deadcat which do you think is better?
