Weapons that can kill Homelander and yet they refuse to pull the trigger:
-Ryan(is with Homelander for now)
-V Killer Virus(in Victoria's hands)
-Temp V(Wasted)
-Soldier Boy(Locked up in an ice box again)
It is getting to the point that they have to write themselves out of corner every single time we get Homelander front and center in a confrontation and somehow he survives when he shouldn't and the same can be said for the Boys as well for the supes had many chances to kill all of them and for some reason they do not and it makes NO F*CKING SENSE!!!!!
Homelander is not superior and I do not believe a single damn thing that Vought told us about how invincible Homelander is for Vought lies about almost everything just look at all of the backstories that Vought made up for all of the supes and yet somehow the public still believes in Vought even tho they had a literal Nazi on the 7 just last season and not to mention that their biggest lie about supes being born was shattered as well. Not to mention that they got the smartest hero in the world in Sister Sage(yeah she is not very smart if she standing right next to a man who can hear your heartbeat) and you have Firecracker(a conspiracy theorist who has been consumed by hatred).
The Boys is playing for time and I hope that season 5 is the final one. Because the cracks are showing and anyone with a trained eye in storytelling will pick it up eventually as well and anyone who knows the comic already knows that Homelander is going to snap soon and he is going to go whole on psychopath.
So it has been confirmed that season 5 will be the last one, and I may not be as upset about it as you seem but I agree… the blackmailing tactic is old and tired. The plan to take Homelander down and take down Vought keeps failing but who knows maybe with the rest of season 4 and season 5 they can land the plane successfully 😉
It'd be even funnier if other methods of killing Homelander were that laser baby Butcher found in Season 1 or that hamster from Season 3. 😂
I want this season to be the end. Homelander's schizo should progress further. The white house plot should just get carried out. The current writings are cool but it doesnt feel like we are progressing.
I don’t think they doing the White House thing unless Newman is dead, she not gonna flip to Homelander side and she determined to have power.

Personally, I have a similar opinion. I would say that I generally like it, but clearly the first and third seasons remain my favorites. Since the first season, one actress and other actors have changed so much that I find it hard to have the same empathy for them as I did at the very beginning. I have to make an effort to remind myself that they are the same people, which makes the suspension of disbelief more forced, and therefore I feel the fictional aspect more. In the first season, this was nonexistent. Only Kimiko and Hughie haven't changed

No. Eric Kripke knows a lot more about how to run a show than you, and it will end when it is planned to (Series 5). It's still brill, some people just react like.. this, for clicks.

Anyway my point was do YALL feel like it could end. If you listened, we agree, it’s still great, but I do feel like the show is recycling ideas.
Normally ppl don’t want good things to end, but in this case I’m ready for it to end before it get bad.

@@WholeViewsbro I agree with you the show is dragging out the boys have insane plot armour last season was great because they had powers but now they are back to their human selves And it just doesn't work the best scenes in the show is everything to do with the seven
