  • Old Santee Canal Park has always been one of my favorite places to visit. I love the natural beauty that still exists there today, and that animals are allowed to live in their natural habitats here as well. I don't know how or why, but it has been over three years since I have visited the park. I will hopefully be able to return here once again before the end of the year. There is a battlefield on the property that has been opened up since I had last went.

Time to load ujp the kayak and hit the park again. Your video has inspired me. Nothing like floating in a piece of plastic with gators all around haha. Thanks for the video as always. Enjoyed it!

I’m sure that the park is beautiful from the water. My favorite place there is where the boardwalk goes all the way across the water. The bravest people I’ve seen in kayaks are at the Okefenokee. The alligators are huge there and the people are in their little canoes or kayaks. I’m always passing by them in the larger boat on the guided boat tour. 😂🐊

Enjoyed learning about the Canal. Lots of plantations and products grown in S.C. and sold to Europe as well as the northern colonies of US. Also have been watching your many great past videos...however, you have gotten much better . I really found the Wormslee Park very informative, and its history. And
was really thrilled to see a Florida state park not far from me , Washington Oaks Gardens has a beautiful rose garden...however, it is not free. Many other
plants, flowers, and sights in that park. You are doing a wonderful service, and over coming years, you will get more views I am sure now that you
have a thousand subs. I also wanted to compliment you for not only the beautiful photos quality but also your sense of humor makes me laugh and
I see your Mom smiling too. Oh, I also viewed your Railroad Museum video and the S.C. State Museum with its five floors of exhibits in Charlotte. That
was very informative and I dont know of any state that has done that kind of museum for its citizens. Great history to be proud of.

I have gotten more comfortable on camera than I originally was. I’m somewhat of a shy person to this day. I usually quit talking if a group is around. 😂 We have been to Washington Oaks twice I believe. I loved the azaleas and the beach across the road. We don’t have anything like that on our beaches here in SC.
Most people seem to enjoy my channel once they get to it. I try to keep it real. Hopefully one day it will take off, but if not, I’m still happy with the success that it has had.

For someone who has lived in SC most of her life never knew this was here . The Alligator trail was a really nice walk . I'm surprised y'all didnt see more gators but the 3 you did see were nice . I agree with you on the home ...it is beautiful . I could have done without the snake . Snakes and i do not like each other, lol. Tell your mom i like her hat . Y'all have a wonderful Memorial Day and stay safe .😊

We found out about this park maybe 10 or 15 years ago. We really enjoy visiting there. I’m not fond of snakes either. I had walked by it and didn’t even see it until mom called my name. I was hoping that we’d see more alligators than we did. I usually see a pretty good bit there. I bought mom her hat for Mothers Day. She has found out that it is reversible. I hope that you have a wonderful Memorial Day as well. Take care!
