Unless you tow a lot (and for real not just for pretend) this has as much more passenger space than the Big 3 body on frame suvs. It in a much more efficient and maneuverable package.
I knowww what happened to the 6-cyl?? They made the whole car better this year but ditched a whole load of horsepower (and torque) which is required to move a car this large #smh 🤦♂️
You guys are so silly! It was 269 in the 4 cylinder horsepower vs 276 in the v6. The 4 cylinder actually has 10 foot pounds more of torque. So what are you complaining about? Maybe the smaller displacement of the 4 cylinder would be detrimental for towing, and certainly will be bad if the turbo charger fails, but sans any of that, you’ve got a great car with a very comparably powerful engine to the outgoing 6 cylinder
@@jessiejames3029 thank you for informing me! I had not actually looked at the specs myself and jumped to the conclusion that the new engine was less powerful given the smaller displacement. Glad to hear the Atlas is only getting better 👍
This was once given to my mom as a courtesy car while her 2012 Tiguan was being serviced and she loved it. If she were to own one, she'd get it with the V6
Love these things. Picked up a 2019 a couple years ago for about 50k cad. Not fancy or powerful but pretty comfy and the extensive climate controls and heated rear seats are perfect
Amazing how technology has evolved over time. Back in the day, me being an 80's baby ('83) to be exact, you were doing something if you had that lil "Antenna" on the side of your window you were doing it big lol.
A lot of these niceties are things that are going into most VW models these days. I saw a lot of these features while checking out a 2024 GTI. That being said, I really like my 2020 Atlas Cross Sport. It's basically an Atlas without the 3rd row, which is perfect for my family. I especially love the huge amount of cargo space in the trunk, and the 2nd row can fold flat, thus giving the car a nearly unparalleled cargo capacity in its segment. My real only complaint is that there's far too much plastic for $50k+. Most of the cost came from the tech upgrades.

Considering how large it is on the outside it has an incredible amount of interior space, very good packaging.
