People travel from all over to participate in this annual event in Arkansas! You too can join in on the fun digging crystals, enjoying the gem show or both! And if you want to dig crystals in Mt. Ida, go and check out Twin Creek and Sweet Surrender Mines!
On this episode, we are visiting this event, spending the first half at one location, and the second half of the video at another.
Bucket list number ONE: pull a crystal from the earth with my own hands. I can’t even imagine how magical these trips are!!!! I’m addicted to watching.

Thirst Fast clear quartz for sure. They’re so magical and pure and beautiful!! And if I ever dig up one with natural rainbows, I’d probably pass out with it in my hand lol
Thirst Fast I’d love to find some amethyst too. Purple is my favorite color and amethyst have such amazing energy in my life.

Yo dude. I'm a british mineral hunter and us collectors over here are always super jealous of how you guys dig. Over here, we have to go underground, or work spoil heaps to find specimens. And with a much smaller land mass, a lot of material was taken many years ago. Seems the Americans have a love for our fluorescent minerals and we have a love for your quartz. I would travel halfway around the globe to pull out a quartz cluster like you guys are finding!

I dug for crystals when I was 6 or 7 years old. I still remember what fun it was, from finding them, the sound of the tools in the earth, right down to the heavy paper bags that you put them in. It has been to long. Time to go back to Arkansas.

We were at Crater Diamond State park a few weeks ago ! We found some jasper but no real diamonds . But oh so much fun 😃

Wwooooowwww, i wish i can go there someday. I really love crystal,especialy clear quartz,rose quartz,lemurian quartz and many more. Oh and i do love jewel too. I have rough brazillian amethys in small piece,rough raflesia,sea moonstone,clear quartz,rainbow labrador,black sapphire and few more. But i'm not collector,i just love to amass it. xD

Not really quartz is the most abundant mineral on earth
Actually crystals are not worth that much because they're not rare that can be found on you can find lots of them in just one pocket only Rare Minerals are the ones that are really costing
Jeremy Vargas well if you get a big one like in thumb nail they can go from 80-100 depending who you buy it from also small ones in bulk are good because people would rather have smaller gems those can go up in any price of its bulk size though
If you found that in africa it may cost a lot of money, but outside africa it has no value

Bryan - I had somehow missed this one too. I was craving Arkansas so badly! Love the effects - especially the Batman segue! Lol! You must have the best eyes because every time you said, “Do you see it? It’s right there,” I didn’t see it! Reminded me of an episode of Friends when Rachel was having an ultrasound and her baby was about the size of a peanut. Since Ross already had a child, he knew and the doctor pointed it out to her and Rachel said, “Oh! I see it!” As soon as the doctor left the room she started crying and said, “Ross. I don’t see it!” I know you don’t watch much TV but I think you get it. It was dry and dirt covered so everything just looked like rocks to me. I’m sure when I get to go on a dig, I’ll get more used to spotting things. Didn’t you get asked to be a guest judge on a future Championship Dig? This was so much fun seeing all the contestants so happy, and you still showed so many informative things with veins and pockets. Thanks again for a top notch viewing and learning experience!

Hey Crystal Collector, I have a great question for you......If you only have 4 to 5 days you are spending in Arkansas and your traveling by SUV Ford from EAST TEXAS, where would you visit and where would you stay?.... we're going somewhere at the end of August maybe in the middle of September.
Plus when would you take this trip what would be the perfect weather for this kind of trip?

The quartz around me in Ohio, aren't exactly all continuous crystals, but are massive clusters of quartz.

I’m a relatively recent subscriber and I love your videos, I’ve watched all of them already and I’m wishing for more 😂 This would literally be my dream job, I’m from PA so I don’t think we have many places to mine up here, I hope someday I can come visit one of the mines you’ve been at in your videos and dig up some crystals!!
