Bigbang debut in 2006 . They were the first idol group of YG . Took the company from near banckrupcy to one of the top in the country and defined the YG unique style . They changed kpop forever and are the blueprint of the groups you see today . They had the first rapline , the first to write produce their own music, proved solo careers are possible without disband , brough the big fashion houses into kpop, leader GDragon created the lightstick, he wanted BigBang fandom VIP to be able to stand out , now every group has his own lightstick design , it is the fandom symbol . The deep voice rapper TOP is the reason having that deep voice member in the group is a must . The group was the first to win an international award MTV Europe 2011, beat Britney Spears. They had the first large scale world tours Alive 2012 . All without any promotion outside Asia . Leader GDragon still has the record of most tickets sold fir a solo world tour with MOTTE in 2016. The members are coming back from a 6 years hiatus do to military service . Solo projects are coming . Main vocalist Taeyang just dropped a new solo album . You can watch Shoong , Vibe or if you like balads Seed is very emotional. Leader GDragon has been mostly involved into fashion . He released 4 shoes models with Nike and is Chanel brand ambassador. We do expect new music this summer. Vocalist Daesung is staring with some festival performances. He joined a label created just for him D-Lable and we should hear about his projects soon . Rapper TOP joined a crew of artists who plan to fly to the moon for inspiration. Elon Musk is testing that rocket .

G-dragon (neon yellow hair) is the one who came up with the idea of light sticks because he wanted to see how many fans were in the crowd.
They are considered to be the Kings of Kpop. A lot of current idols say they were the inspiration for them.
Bang Bang Bang came out around 2015.
Like 98% of their songs were written by G Dragon. They were one of the first kpop bands to go international (beyond Asia) with a tour.

Big Bang never copied anyone and Sober is most definitely NOT based off an American song. He's right, you are 100% wrong. Most kpop groups who came after them admit they wouldn't exist without Big Bang. Suga of BTS said "It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that BIGBANG practically made BTS". Big Bang have 5 of the top 10 selling world tours. They were selling out arenas around the world before most kpop groups were even doing world tours. They created the lightstick and lead the way for kpop artists to be able to write and produce their own music. And there is NO ONE who can get a crowd as hyped as Big Bang. They are the idols of idols, legends of legends and the true kings of kpop. As an American, I can say Big Bang is superior to ANY American group.

Love Big Bang. Some info about Big Bang. OG, Kings of Kpop. Between 2007 - 2016, 10 years they were the biggest Kpop group in the world. Btw 2017 - 2021 they all had to go to military for approx 18 months. (compulsory in Korea for all men by time 30 years old) Due to this BTS became the next top Idol Kpop group, and now we have Blackpink also, which is another YG Entertainment group. They released 1 song in April 2022, 6 years after their last group release, an MV for their fans to say. "We are here and your not forgotten" It was a 2.57 minute MV song only. No promotions, no stages, nothing. They were never heard from again. It topped all charts the day of release and became one of the only All Kill songs that year. They also won Best Group Vocal Performance at MAMA 2022 in December that year but never showed. Their younger baby boy group Treasure who performed at the Show accepted the Award on their behalf. In January this year Taeyang started his Solo comeback and dropped a song called Vibe with Jimin of BTS, which topped all charts and in April he dropped a Solo mini album and did another song but this time with Lisa from Blackpink. Lisa was a backgroud performer in his Ringa Linga MV in 2012 during her trainee days. She calls him Oppa. Which is Korean for older brother. Respect. Big Bang never need to work again, but for their fans they are coming back to us slowly. Big Bang either created or started all you see in Kpop today, except for the squeeky clean cut look most boy groups have today, because they are all 5 individual personalities who broke the old trends to usher i the new. They are all musicians, lyricist, producers and more. The members have each except G Dragon left YG to pursue their new endeavours. Taeyang is working under The Black Label which is a subsidiary of YGE. The founder and producer is Teddy Park who produces Blackpink. Daesung has created his own Label for himself called D-label and we are expecting work from him soon. Although he could do a comeback in musical Theatre? TOP, which stands for "The Official Pimp" is literary at SpaceX. TOP has always had a fascination with Art and the Moon. Seungri left the group in 2020 due to being charged and convicted of a crime. He did 18 months. G Dragon the one everyone calls The KING of Kpop is expected to make a comeback this year also. He has worked with some of the biggest Artist in the world, including Missy Elliot, Flo Rider and more. As for Big Bang the group, the members have always maintained that they will always be Big Bang, regardless of where they may be today. We are expecting a group comeback in future also. Between all 5 Artist they have created hundreds of songs and written, produced music for many others. This is why they are so respected by all Artist in not just Kpop but all music worldwide.

Thanks for reaction. Yes, good for workouts! Hope you react to more BIGBANG, their music is very diverse. They are always better live imo. Maybe try some of their calmer songs? Need lyrics as they are good - fan channels add eng subs to official mv's. Maybe try Last Dance, Loser, and If You - no mv for If You, but live in Bangkok is the best imo. The stage in this reaction was right at the end of their concert and they still had great energy. They are always fun on stage. They have a good time and so the audience does too. Sober is their original song. Part of their last world tour was across USA with big audiences and loads of write ups in major music and news press and no-one else claimed it. Maybe you have just heard it somewhere before? As Ed Sheeran says, there are only 12 notes, so i guess all music will have something in common with something else. And some music has actual samples. :)

A note about Top’s ring. I’m not sure if this is true but I heard his mom creates jewelry. Could be a hobby but I think she makes them for him and he wears them. Also if you catch him performing with a cane, the handle is a dog head and it’s based on his dog, who actually passed several years ago. From my understanding he misplaced it at a music show and flew into a bit of a panic. He found it though.

PSY producers his own songs and GD & Teddy Produces Big Bang songs. Big Bang are Korean boy band that debut in 2005/06 and are the seniors of Winner, Ikon, Blackpink. YG was build on BigBang!

BigBang AKA your favorite kpop group's favorite kpop group. Finding a kpop group that hasn't been influenced by Bigbang is like trying to find a needle in a slightly longer needle stack. Just pick any quirk from kpop and there's a 70 percent chance that Bigbang started the trend.

3:20 that is something you can see happening a lot. Some labels have speciffic characteristics/concepts.
YGE usually is known for being the hiphop power house of kpop so rap is expected and usually there is high expectations for their rappers. Their style (usually called "YG Vibe") is usually swaggy and cool (there are people that call YG the "Swag Company") and most times they mix hype beats and party anthems in their songs. Tho they might also be seen as the "bad boys/girls" of kpop, since many of their artists dont follow the normal "rules" of the kpop industry. This could be as simple as not following the same schedule that is expected for any kpop idol (YG artists usually do take their time to release music) to being more directly rebellious and diss the entire industry/media.
In short, the typical musical style of YG is hiphop and edm mixed together and the usually vibe of a YG artist is: Swag, cool, hype, and somewhat rebellious and disruptive.
This is a double edged sword tho. On one side, many people love that, because this makes them unique, something different and it is not uncommon to see their artists being the ones starting trends, by doing something different which eventually the whole industry decides to follow, for example, the lightsticks. In kpop the first artists to bring lightsticks to represent the fandom were BigBang, or to be more precise, their leader, G-Dragon (guy in yellow/green hair, 116:49) .
On the other hand, it also brings a lot of hate and issues, since usually media loves to drag down these artists for not following "their rules".
This is not the actual song performance but their encore stage. Their encore stage can go on from 30 min to 1 hour! To give u an idea how big they are their concert tickets sold out in seconds. The song Sober is a Gdragon original don’t guess and start nonsense by saying it’s an American song. Most songs have the same base chords
They are the King of K-pop.

Welcome to the world of BigBang, a South Korean group formed in 2006. This concert is from 2016, before TOP (pink-haired rapper) enlisted in the army.
GDragon, (green hair) icon of Korea, is the one who thought of a way to differentiate his fans with a special item, and thus the crown that the group's fans wear was born. From there, all fandoms have their own distinctive.
I recommend reading the lyrics of the songs and watching the group's live performances. They have no waste.

YG ENT has more boygroups than GIRL GROUPS... BIGBANG is another BOY GROUP from YG. The boy groups YG has/had are BIGBANG, WINNER, SECHSKIES, IKON (they recently terminated their contract with YG last year) and there is some drama behind that but that is another story for later, and then there is TREASURE ( the most active and current boy group and the youngest boy group as of now ranging from ages 18-24. Two members of Treasure left so they are now a 10 member group but I HIGHLY recommend reacting to TREASURE. Us BLINKS call Treasure BLACKPINK'S little brothers and they always admire and praise BLACKPINK. Then, the ONLY girl groups YG has/had are 2NE1 (disbanded), BLACKPINK (most active and current) and BABYMONSTER (a NEW GIRL GROUP who we actually just found out the official members a DAY ago. They will be agroup of 7 girls. Their ages range from 14-21 and they are claimed to debut in the fall of THIS YEAR. You guys should get into BABYMONSTER’S predebut videos as that can be a first ever group for u guys to see from YG ENT’s trainee life and their evaluations they have to go through CONSTANTLY. BABYMONSTER have an 8 episode series + debut announcement member video right here on youtube yall can check out if yall want. I think yall would LIKE it and get to see what idol trainee life can be like and the struggles even BLACKPINK had to go through and much more. Jennie and Lisa even took part in training and mentoring BABYMONSTER apart from BP’S own BUSY BUSY schedule. The only YG groups I am into are BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and now will be BABYMONSTER. I did like IKON a bit too BUT some members are doing solo works now so that is valid too. Anyways, I will include some suggestion reaction links below.

Let me add something. 1TYM, JinuSean, EPIK HIGH are boy groups YG had but they're not really considered a Kpop group but more Khiphop. And aside from 2NE1, BLACKPINK, and BABYMONS7ER girl groups like BIGMAMA, and SWI.T (YG's wife was a member of this group, said wife is also a sister to a SECHSKIES member) are also girl groups YG had.

te juro que a bts y bigbang no les veo lo parecido, mas bien siento que bts es como la version masculina de su primer grupo (GLAM) que hizo junto a source music y que además, tiene más parecido al concepto que traía bap (fue por eso que en los años debut a bts le cayo olas que digo olas TONELADAS de hate masivo)
but, innegable que bigbang al igual que otros grupos de la 1era y 2da generación como shinee, suju, tvxq, gg, fueron en parte la razón principal por la cual varios chicos decidieron hacerse idols. Tmb que sin GD no habria tecnicamente un ligthstick. y sin bigbang, yg nunca hubiese formado parte de de las big3.
pero, lamentablemente, el final del grupo no fue el mejor de todo, con 2 miembros que fueron detenidos por la policia y los otros 3 restantes con casi pocos lanzamientos estos ultimos años.

The lightsticks you see everyone in the audience holding during BigBang's concert were not given to the audience members. Every one of those lightsticks were purchased by the audience members, most way before this concert was even a thought.
The lightsticks are a part of BigBang's official merchandise and it's one of the items that fans purchase to represent that they are a member of VIP (BigBang's fandom). BigBang's lightstick is yellow and it has a crown on top because BigBang are known as the kings of Kpop.
Almost all Kpop groups have an official lightstick and official fandom color. The fans spend a pretty good amount of money to purchase those lightsticks. I am sure if you google any group with the word lightstick you will find several sites where they are for sale. But be warned, most are pretty expensive because most are more than just a light. :D
Most lightsticks are primarily one color -- whatever color represents the group. For example, SHINee's official lightstick is shaped like a diamond. And if you hold it up to a solid surface and look at the reflection the diamond makes, you will see a 5 point star to represent the 5 members of SHINee. SHINee's symbol is a diamond because they SHINe(e) like diamonds and it lights up an aqua blue/teal color because aqua blue/green is SHINee's fan color. BTS' lightstick is the ARMY bomb so it looks like a TNT-type bomb and it lights up purple. BlackPink has a pink hammer. Stray Kids' lightstick has a red and silver compass symbol on top and it glows red because their official color is red, etc.
And some lightsticks, such as EXO's lightstick, is controlled by bluetooth so the lighting technicians can change the color of the lightsticks whenever they want and they can make it flash and pulse to the music. EXO's lightstick has the EXO hexagon symbol on top and it says EXO in the middle. EXO's official color is Cosmic Latte (tan/siver), however, each of the 9 EXO members have their own official color so, often when specific members are performing on stage they change the color to whatever color coincides with that member.
Some group's lightsticks aren't even sticks, but they are bracelets or watch-style lights that you can wear. It all depends on the group. And some groups that have been around a long time, or whose company likes to continuously come out with new merchandise, have multiple versions of lightsticks. Each are very unique and specific to the group.
However, in some older Kpop group's performances, from their older concerts or live performances, you might see that the audience only has plain stick lights or even just glow sticks because before there were lightsticks fans brought or were given glow sticks in the group's color. And even before glow sticks were a thing, fans would all wave a balloon that was the color of their group. The disadvantage to waving balloons was that the artists on stage couldn't see the balloons when the lights were off, which is one of the reasons why G-Dragon, BigBang's leader, came up with the idea for the first lightsticks, because he wanted to be able to see and identify all of the VIPs in the audience.
During award shows and events where multiple groups are present, the group's lightsticks and balloons are, and were, an important way for fans to show their support for their group and to tell everyone around them who they are there to see etc.

BIGBANG eats their CDs. They sound exactly the same as their studio version when they go live. Only better coz of the added adlibs and the arrangement from one composition to another. They perform one song in different genres or arrangement.

It´s funny how you think that Sober is based on an American song and not that that American song you are thinking about was inspired by Sober. Anyway, probably they are just two songs with similar beats. BigBang are the kings of kpop and the first idols producing his own music. They are the OGs of kpop, their leader is G-Dragon and he is the king of kpop, the idols of idols.

Edit : Siempre veo como la gente recomienda las canciones más recientes y modernas. BB al igual que SKZ mezclan el hip hop , pop y EDM pero cada uno a su manera diferente. Recomiendo las canciones que hicieron a BB populares. Aunque se nota que son mas antiguas son preciosas y muy únicas, como : Haru Haru , Lies , Fool, a fool of tears, cafe (live ver) , a good man (live ver) .
