There's also the fact that people would start cheating on purpose just to be in the video. It's already happened. Random release times between a couple weeks to a couple of months works well here I think.

I think there shouldn’t be game bans. If someone cheats, disable their Steam account. They don’t deserve to play any games.
leaves too much room for fresh game developers that have game-ban power to abuse... like Ubisoft. If you run R6:Siege up with something as dumb as singleplayer minecraft cheats in the background and you'll get a game ban on your account.

After this clip, I contacted facepunch again, and after 2 tries, I was able to find out that I had been banned on my first account due to a HWID spoofer I forgot I had. After deleting it, I was able to get my account back and my ban reversed because there was nothing else to indicate I had ever cheated. I am writing this, because like everyone here I hate cheaters, and how they rampage and ruin this beloved game, and I don’t want anyone to think that I would take part in anything as cringe and disgusting as cheating.
