- This is an unofficial re-edit and re-grade of the previous two versions of the 20th Century Studio Logos.
The image is brighter and the colours more vivid with a greater contrast between the text faces and text body.

Logo created to complete the rebranding of Zero Day Fox/Fox Digital Studio (2008-2020) to 20th Digital Studio(2023+), in line with it's position as a subsidiary of 20th Century Studios and Walt Disney Studios, following the 2019 acquisition.
The original logo first debuted at SXSW in March 2023 alongside Appendage (coming soon)

OFFICIAL VERSIONS:
Day - • 4K - 20th Digital Stud...
Night - • 4K - 20th Digital Stud...
The result is a creative collaboration between myself and the team at 20th Digital Studios - The team were keen on differentiating this logo while retaining the familiarity associated with 20th Century, we achieved this by giving the text a more metallic/gold appearance, opposed to the more familiar polished yellow stone as well as changing up the lighting.
As with the previous versions there is a day and a night variant, allowing for flexibility and thematic pairing with various 20th Digital Studio Production, as well as the opportunity to further adapt the logo with additional or alternative grading, depending on the requirements.
Unfortunately I no longer had access to the previous working files from 2013 so this require a complete reworking from the ground up including a brand new 64 square kilometer (24 Square Mile) recreation of Los Angeles City, ranging from the 20th Century Studio lot to the Hollywood Hills.
We experimented with many different time of day scenarios and real-world sun positions, and ultimately settled on a dusty sunrise with a non real-world sun position for more dramatic lighting. As well as an overcast night time setting with a dramatic and threatening cloudscape.
The work was primarily completed in 3DS Max and rendered with V-Ray.
Created between October and December 2022.
4096x2160 (1.90:1) @23.976fps
Special thanks to David Worthen Brookes, Monique McNeil and Miles Alva for working closely with me throughout the project.
Keep an eye out for upcoming films with the new 20th Digital Studio logo coming soon!

Another interesting rendition of the logo. Were there any prototypes of this logo?
there's more coming soon
@@paxtonlogoarchive7729 Hopefully a breakdown video
@@ALT-9167 Oh there were many prototypes, mainly different lighting setups, however Paxton Logo Archive has no inside knowledge about this and hasn't seen them (so I'm not sure why they're saying that), and none of them will be publicly released (since they're not actually rendered) - a breakdown video may be on the horizon however.
@@RobertHoltby Ah great to know! Thank you!
@@RobertHoltby Mind showing the prototypes on YT?
If it were offical, It would be owned By 20th Century Fox. I hope Disney approves it.
Kinda curious how long did it took you to render this logo? And 20th Television hasn't gotten a new look since they enhanced the 2007's logo.
It's hard to say for sure as it was rendered in layers i.e. the sky, the city, the trees, the main structure, the spotlights etc - then all combined together. The rendering took place on and off over the course of about a month, for the two different versions, so probably safe to say a couple of weeks total rendering. The final 25 second 4k composite, of about 150 layers took around 4-5 hours to render!
@@RobertHoltby 4-5 hours to render?! Damn. But anyways you did a nice job on this logo. My only complaint is the text for the "20th" should've been the same from the "20th Century Studios" logo, but then again that's just my opinion.
Variant 1: Driffent Light
Variant 2: Dark Version

fox digital studio but the word fox is replaced with 20th
That should've been an official variant?
I can do my best to advise clients in one direction or another, but ultimately they have final decision.
