You guys probably don't remember but when Elinalise asked Roxy in season 1 to join her while she is collecting information (u know her way of collecting😂) Roxy replied that she is saving herself to someone who would save her inside a labyrinth one day and might adventure together and fall in love.
So now Rudeus showing up all of sudden all grown up and save her inside a labyrinth like that she instantly fell for him

Yes, Paul was impliying to also marry Roxy along with Sylphie, remember in this world the only people where the husband has only one wife is people from the Millis religion which would be the equivalent of Christianism, but in this world people from Millis are way less numerous and actually seen as weird for being monogamous. Is a world with different sensibilities.

You might wanna catch a moment from season 1 episode 13, the scene where Roxy's party was exiting Wind Port. She described her fantasy of meeting a man who'd be her husband.
And Rudeus has fulfilled the initial clauses to the letter.
Everyone can see how smitten Roxy is with him. Paul's intervention in the situation is warranted, since she doesn't know he's married, and he knows a thing or two about bigamy. The episode covers about two weeks of adventuring (two days travel per trip, a day or two per dive, those three days of waiting, a couple of days for rest and resupply in town), and nobody's told her. Paul's decided to wait until things calm down, because the news breaking Roxy's heart or Rudeus getting all awkward would trip up the party in combat. The pair may be the physically weakest members of the crew (dunno if Rudeus is stronger than Geese), but they're the heavy ranged DPS and AOE.
The extra layers with Paul's speech about using two swords might trip Rudeus up, since only North God Style has dual-wielding techniques, and he knows Paul hates that school of swordsmanship.
As to Rudeus having two wives, that was pretty much the plan until TP1. Sylphie was educated by Lilia and Zenith on how to be a proper lady and a homemaker, and Paul knew and approved of Philip's intention of having Rudeus marry Eris. Now he knows something happened with Eris and Rudeus has married Sylphie despite the chaos resulting from the Teleportation Incident, and that Roxy has definite romantic interest with the boy.
He apparently approves. Roxy was like a big sister to Rudeus in his and Zenith's eyes while she was at Buena, and she's been helpful to him the past two years on his quest, plus there's his gratitude for her taking on the search for his family on the Demon Continent. Feels like Paul would be delighted to have her as a daughter-in-law.
in the LN her fantasy has even more details and I wouldn't recommend any anime only to read it now because it is basically a spoiler

Paul already dreaded the idea of Elinalise being his daughter-in-law, so he's open-minded about his son's relations.
@@Tounushi also, during his begarrit travels, Rudeus was thinking about what could happen for not following the man-god's advice, and he thought that x or y could happen, in the end both ended up happening 😭
@@ShiNijuuAKL I don't think he'd had cared about that. There's tons of peoples in the six sided world who look young and have longer lifespan than humans, most people would probably see it as normal. He dreaded Elinalise because they "knocked boots" in the past and their relationship turned sour. Imagine if your kid married your ex...

Well, it's not said explicitly, but Roxy was all the more excited because men ignore her (since she looks too young). And she felt Rudeus was accepting her advances. He really was just being dense, but he DOES like Lolis too, haha.

In this world only those who follow the Millis religion believe in monogamy. It’s similar to Christianity. Polygamy is accepted and practiced by rest of the world, that’s why Paul eluded to Rudy that he could have two swords (wives). Also Roxy’s dream was to meet a love interest why exploring a dungeon (enter Rudy saving her)
Im pretty sure that Rudy doesn’t recognize Roxy’s attraction to him because he sees her as his master and reveres her like a goddess.
