dont use Corvas prime, its bad, use normal corvas. prime has different projectile that does 0 damage on profit taker 90% of the time

@@KnightmareFrame there is a good guide released by the profit taker community, its not meant to be just for speedrunning but also for some beginners and just casual credit farms, it has alot of good information even if you dont wanna speedrun the fight. you should check it out, its a ton of info
Yes and no. Corvas P can 1 shot( charged) limb without any buff, without riven. It is just abit harder to shoot

Just a tip for those without preparation, there's always 3 barrels right outside the spawn door to the left behind the broken trucks, they contain 150 energy each, take a few seconds and smash em.

Profit Taker Is fun. Exciting. Faster than index and you benefit more from here. You get toroids for little duck. Bonds for fortuna standing. And chances at radiant relics. and obviously creditss . And set ups are very light work on setting up. Its funny how we have the same setup damn near. Except with the arch wing, i use odanata for the shield as i fly straight up and look down to shoot pilons with zenith. 😝

If hes just using light attacks with the exodia zaw, that should still work (if it still shoots projectile) the eclipse nerf on the other hand.....

For me the toroids are the main thing, because as far as i care, this is the ONLY way to get them.
you can use the secondary fire of the zenith to destroy the pillars, so you dont need to fly to each one of them

I used to do PT with Battacor and Synoid Gammacor
You only need to take 100 health damage to get the max damage boost, so you’ll be fine as long as you’re not dumb.
The reason you didn’t like the Corvas is because corvas p is bugged for pt and de refuses to fix it, base corvas and velocitus are the best pt arch guns to have in your necramech

I Tested Eclipse with Negative strength to simulate its nerfed version. I can confirm that 90% eclipse is still viable for PF runs though not as strong (3 mins - around 5-6 mins). Given I tested this with Negative strength elemental ward (Toxin) and eclipse's unreliable lighting mechanic so take this with a grain of salt.
at that point why not just use vex armor in combination with, idk, nourish? I've been doing PT runs with a chroma with nourish over his 1 for quite a while now and it's a very good casual build. The build is good for casuals like me because I also get the armor bonus. Energy nexus + nourish means I have plenty of energy to reactivate vex armor before it runs out and keep my buffs up. Nourish is also one less element I need to build for. With the eclipse nerf incoming, nourish + vex armor may actually be competitive.
@@Matt513131Vex armor is additive. Eclipse will retain its multiplicative nature so even in its nerfed form it’s gonna be superior.
@GC_Mars it's additive, but its a 275% additive boost at base. At 300% strength you're looking at a 1.9x multiplier from eclipse, or base damage increase stacking up to 825%. Unless you're getting over 800% base weapon damage from other sources, a fully stacked vex armor will boost damage significantly more than eclipse.

Exodia contagion's projectile does IPS, viral and blast (explosion) damage

I've been using Protea's dispensary on Chroma's 1st ability for a safer and more casual approach. Pair that with Arcane Blessing, and other orb mods and you get a tankier frame although with less instant strength boost (vex needs to charge)
Use a protea specter and put eclipse on chromas 3rd

doing a guide with eclipse and exodia contagion when they were nerfed today and you knew the nerf was comming hmmm.
Not sure about the eclipse change if roar will now be as good, but I think he's just using light attacks with the exodia zaw, if so nothing should change on that front.
Eclipse is still usable imo sure they nerfed the damage buff down quite heavily but hey on the bright side atleast the buffs are not conditional now you can choose and toggle which buffs you want so give and take ig?

@@kennyherzet8524 to correct you the nerf wasnt with zaw itself but with exodia contagion taking away the ability to heavy attack and throw out stupidly strong projectiles but yes that one kindda annoyed me cuz i frequent exodia contagion but oh wells it is what it is i aint gonna cry abt it like alota other peop wud

If you are building him like this that’s why. Vex armor is better if you can get it high enough. Nightmareframes build isn’t bad but I get this done in 2:30 every run with my dispensary chroma with a 1269% vex damage buff and 1615% armor buff. I never die and I have all 10 elements covered.
U either arent dropping shields quick enough or arent killing mobs that spawn quick enough. I would use vex until you are more comfortable then switch to eclipse once you can clear without taking dmg

@@Simcogo I've tried using it before and after, and I've been paying attention to where the credits drop so I can place it as close as possible, still nothing. I genuinely can't tell what I'm doing wrong

You have to place it at the back where the left leg (back view) joint touches the ground while it looks like it will collapse, it will stand back up from there but just stay there hugging your effigy until it dropps the loot, it works every time.

Someone care to explain why i dont need to care about status chance if im throwing projectile?
You don’t need to care about status chance on the Profit Taker because he’s immune to statuses.
Also, the status procs from zaws’ projectile are not that consistent, so if you plan on only using it as a projectile, you’d rather have dmg/crit chance/attack speed to upgrade your overall dps.
status chance is to APPLY the status on the enemy. your gun/melees can still do "ELEMENTAL" damage to the enemy, even without applying the status.

Build an archwing launcher and then equip it in your gear wheel (it's a hassle and there's a bunch you have to do before but that's the short answer)

The wings are a part of the chroma zunlong skin last i checked 2 days ago it was still in shop so go get it if its still there

This guys build is honestly pretty dumb this time. All you need is a chroma if you want double credits. Any decent build can run profit taker real quick and public usually has chromas plus people who will speed through it.

@@noahedenborg4221 Ignore em the setup is fine as he specifically made it this way in an attempt to make it easier for newer players, and to that extent it works perfectly fine, if you're good at the game this setup can get you sub 2 min range. As he stated in the video multiple times it does have faster ways to do the fight but unfortunately majority of people such as the person that started this comment have a tendency of skipping to the builds part only.
