On June 23, I flew from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport in Economy on a new Alaska Airlines 737-900ER. I sat in the exit row, so the legroom was great.

i like both alaskas old and new livery as long as eskimo joe is on their i will know its alaska airlines the old interior has the native alaskan designs also the new interiors nice because its high tech and digital

Cool Trip Report! I live in San Jose
I flew this aircraft last weekend from LAX to EWR roundtrip and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend flying in their premium class for transcon flights - that extra legroom is totally worth it!
seems to be alaska kept some of its old things but also have the new digital things as well

Great trip report, well done! Before landing was some turbulence, right?
SEA seems like a really congested airport. Long queue line for takeoffs, and often times the approach route requires arriving aircraft to zigzag around to get in the long line.

one our flight down to DFW....our seats were the first row of economy plus....that hanging wall piece was right in front of me....keep trying to hit it when getting in or our.....this was the seat that also had a AIRBAG seatbelt

The new SJC is a HUUUGE improvement over the old one story bungalow terminal. Using air stairs was cool...dragging ur s**t up them was NOT.

They were based in Alaska but have increased to the lower 48 and Hawaii. They still fly a lot to Alaska, and for some airports, they are the only major airline that flies to them.
