When Satoshi is trying his best to explain in English....Bernardo is dying lol...nice choke
Kimura used it in 1951 against Helio, it's one of the staples of Judo til this day. Great video
You should make a video about the history of this technique like you did with juji gatame. Love your channel btw it reignited my love for judo thank you
@@danieltalamantes3763 already did

I really love your videos Chadi!
@@dietrich8820 thank you so much
Chadi No Sir. Thank you! When Kron Gracie said that thing about there not being a Do Osae before Helio Gracie, I knew he was either lying or didn’t know the full history of Jujutsu, like most UFC fans. I’m glad more people are educating people and showing the truth. Keep doing what you do!
It's huge honor for me to see bernardo shrinkage pant
"GAAAAAAG!" That was amazing. Can you do it one more time? True words of a BJJ enthusiast.
I love that he calls it the kimono 🥰🥰
Me too!!
lol by the time he says his next English word, Bernardo is already out sleeping lol
I see Judokas use this move so much, that it really is one of Judos staple techniques.
Watching Judo tournaments, I wonder more when a Judoka will do it, rather than if they will try it.
Just another beautiful Video by Faria and his Guest.
His head started turning red way before the tap😂😂😂gotta love Mr Uge Onor.
Satoshi has a fucking tree trunk for a neck
I play this all the time but the details are sooo good. Thank Satoshi!!!
"I almost died! Really amazing! Can you show me one more time?" LOLOL Bernardo Faria RULES :-)
This. This is phenomenal. A real game changer with those options!
I talked about this attack years ago and every BJJ guy gave me the lol...BJJ guys pleas go to France Russia or Japan. And take judo Newaza I swear your whole game will open up and you will get faster at transitions and recognizing submissions. Travis Stevens trained judo newaza in Japan. There is a reason he got his black belt in 3 years from John danaher.
Learned this move in Judo class a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it!
Thank you for showing such respect for Judo, most BJJ practitioners couldn’t care less until they get smashed by one 😅
'that's amazing, i almost died in there...'....'can you show one more time....(i'd like to almost die one more time)...' great video and details by the way. Thanks bernardo!
LOL
1:56 that shit was tight as hell man 😂😂😂😂
I knew the basic side triangle but COVID-19 hurry up and end so I can try that collar grab variation! Thanks for this Bernardo and Satoshi
Thank you!
Awesome video!
Satoshi is the man!
Very surprising how few bjj athletes know this triangle yet all judokas practice this technique.
Went over this choke last night, it’s crazy how good this one is.
Bravo Bernardo.... Nice video... 👍👏. Ciao from Italy
Huge honour for me
Awesome
awesome
I will apply for member of this channel
I remember a triangle similar to this in judo. I like it because it's a really controlled position, if you miss the strangle you can get the armlock and even if you accidentally put the strangle over their mouth/nose, it still really hurts lol so maybe they're more worn out, if you get stood back up
I love turtle happy days
Huge honor for me
huge honor for me
Which video of ishii’s is this from? I see he has five different instructionals out. I’m curious learning more from him
Judo has so many Sankaku's, triangles that most of you never seen this kinda NeWaza
Everything useful in Bjj is already in Judo plus you learn throws.
2:00 rip Bernardo
What’s to stop him from just grabbing your leg and getting a single?
Today someone is getting choke at my dojo
He fought Cro Cop.
1:05 2:45 technique
Sankaku + Ude garami + kami shiho gatame
Sorry Bernardo, i had to laugh hearing you coughing! I could imagine how strong this judo guy is! Nice technique, thank you for that!😃
Why didn't you free your right hand, when you fell down with the turtle?
It's surprisingly difficult to do. The heel behind the triceps controls the arm pretty well. You have to get your elbow tight before the turn over, otherwise it's too late.
it is almost like an anaconda choke with the legs.
Croatian flag?
He became a Croatian citizen in 2019. Japanese law doesn't permit dual citizenship for adults, so he had to give up his Japanese citizenship to do so.
@nyc king What do you mean, "could not make it"? He was the youngest to ever win the All Japan Judo Championship, he won a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics, and the team world championship. He accomplished basically everything you could in Judo as a Japanese citizen.
My understanding is that the Japanese Judo Federation frowns on competitors moving into MMA, and this caused a split preventing him from pursuing MMA and Judo as he would have liked, and so he moved on. He then became tight with CroCop, and moved to Croatia to train and pursue MMA.
It wasn't that he couldn't hack it at a national level. He had already moved on from competitive Judo long before he switched citizenship.
@nyc king don't get me wrong, I imagine his renouncing his citizenship caused a bit of a scandal (though I don't have any knowledge of that), but his change in citizenship wasn't about trying to compete in Judo for another country because he didn't have the talent to compete for Japan.
His friend Micro cro cop
@@psychoshonen why would he give up his Japanese nationality
kimono..
you won't use that in mma...
Aroma 1:56🤭🤢🤮 2:15 que arrebato (ferhormonas).🤔
Im a bjj player, I think Judo is better then bjj
