If you have to give a linguistic flavor to people then this is yet another way to divide people on the basis of lanugage. And i find it very contradicting when you call yourself a uyir-neyawathi then how do you justify killing dozens of goats and other livestock for your grand wedding ? Which uyir-neyawathi has endorsed this ?
And another question regarding your statement "Naaanga(tamizhargal) thaan Aaaluvom"... The srilankan constitution says that only a sinhala bhuddist can be the president of SL. Take that and Replace the words appropriately in that statement and it would sound similar to your views... This is playing ethnic politics.

"manitha neyam" for the sake of people destrouying the nature and the enviornment puts some of the animal species as endangered species. That is dangerous even for the existance for the human race which is on the top of the food chain. "Uyir Neyam" on the other hand protecting and preserving the envoirnment and all the species there in. The current consumer culture does not understand the culture of preservation. In the consumer culture one exploits the resources in the "uyir neyam " is a culture of preserving the resoucres and recycling it. This does not mean you have to be a vegetarian.
In Sri Lanka the tamils wanted to rule their land with greater automomy that was the root cause of the conflict there. The reason why Tamils wanted to rule their land is because the current rulers in SriLanka supress and opress Tamils Historically in that country. I do not know whether same could be said in Tamil Nadu, but the rule of any land if it is against the livelyhood of the people and if the rulers are from minority group of that land the political stand like Seeman are inevitable

+John Pandian Well the indian constitution allows any Indian (by birth or those who are naturalized) to hold public office. You dont have to be a Tamilian to be the CM of tamizhnadu. Now that you have asked let me give you an another example: Kejriwal is from the state of Haryana but has been twice elected as CM of state of delhi.
I am not here endorsing anyone for the post of CM. all i am saying is that you dont need to add any linguistic requirements for the office of the CM(this is guaranteed by indian constitution).

+John Pandian Learned Sir, Delhi is not a UT for your kind info. It is declared as a National Capital Region with its assembly comprising of elected representatives from the NCR. Given that Delhi has a Legislative assembly comprising of democratically elected MLAs from NCR forming its Government it is no different from other states with its process of electing its CM.
And someone who is NOT from Delhi is elected as its CM with a thumping majority twice =>That is the power of non-identity politics and the rights bestowed upon us by the Indian Constitution.
Learned Sir :D, a simple question for you..Does the Indian Constitution require any one to prove their linguistic credentials to run for the office of the CM of any state ? You can refer to your 3rd standard Social Studies text book from your school if you went to one.
