@@sincitymafia7809 they do multiple drafts of the effects, first a rough cut then a slightly less rough cut and so on until the full detail is added right down to the level of pores on the skin and hair on the head. Somewhere along the process the scene got cut.

They didn't put the scene in because they wanted the ending to be more of a defeat than a victory. But I don't think that banner becoming professor hulk would have had such an impact on that.

Well it is stationary. The earth is part of the group of the solar system, and the comment aims to explain that it is due to the Earth's orbit, and the sun's day/night cycle being due to the rotation of the earth.
Relativity is totally valid here, but I feel you are forgetting the one large detail that the whole point of the joke being to speak of it from the heliocentric frame of reference, hence why we denote the sun to be stationary and earth to appear to spin on an axis.
So I guess here's your preliminary r/woooosh until you finally understand the reason the joke exists.

Glad this was deleted. Doesn’t fit the tone of the movie. Right in the middle of the battle we get this random dialogue reveal scene. It’s very out of place. It’s a very good scene though. Would have maybe fit in endgame.

The worst part about Infinity War and Endgame is that we never got to see how Banner managed to become Smart Hulk. We only got a description of how it happened and even then that was just a dirty move on the part of Marvel. Seriously. We need a proper Hulk film again.

I feel like deleting this scene was the right call for pacing. That third act was so high-octane and it was best to put this reveal off until Endgame.
Smart Hulk came out of nowhere in End Game. This scene would have prevented that.

Professor Hulk wasn’t “Smart Hulk” until after the snap... so are they implying that somewhere in infinity wars, before this scene and the snap, Hulk turned into Smart Hulk?
No, they were originally going to make him transform into Professor Hulk in Infinity war but decided to save that for Endgame and so deleted this scene and rewrote the movie slightly
Originally in the fight against banner and cull obsidian, hulk was supposed to burst out of the hulk buster suit and this was originally going to be the introduction of professor hulk or smart hulk (whatever you wanna call him.)
This was evident when marvel/disney sent off a description of certain action sequences to toy companies so that they can design merchandise, lego sets action figures etc. And one of them was this hulk bursting out of hulk buster.
This scene must be soon after that supposed scene.
It seems to me they changed their idea after this scene was scrapped

If they had swapped out Falcon for Cap (or someone else who was still around post-snap), this would've made a great a post-credits scene. Imagine, the ones who are left are just searching through the jungle, despondent and trying to figure out who's gone and who's not... then they come upon Hulk as shown here. Natasha's tearful smile would've been a great spot to end the scene, showing a little glimmer of hope amidst the overall sadness of the film's ending.
Nah, i get what you are trying to do, but it would just be weird in the actual movie. Besides, no one wanted a glimmer of hope there. They were supposed to lose hard. And hulk just out of knowhere being smart is plain dumb. Its better for him to just say he figured it out through experiments across few years, like in comics, like in Endgame.

Endgame is quite depressing in the beginning, smart Hulk is i think the only really positive character during this time so his introduction scene fits actually quite nice in the movie itself. Im not the fan in general of Bruce and Hulk after he gets beat up by thanos cause then he does not do much, but then its better to be not important than messed up character.

The biggest mistake of infinity war was not having hulk or any version of him. The producers said it didnt make sense? How the hell does End Game hulk make sense. He just shows up. Such the perfect character completely wasted.

Hulk is all about the rage and unlimited strength. When you make him smart, there's no animalistic rage and raw power. Joe Fixit and Professor Hulk are weaker than the savage Hulk, and in the case where he's stronger while being intelligent, it's either him wanting revenge and being angry (the Green Scar), being straight up evil (the Maestro) or being a persona born entirely out of malice and lack of restrain (the Devil Hulk).

Speaking about chronology with deleted scenes doesn’t make sense, since by definition they would never make sense, chronologically, as they never happened. Even for deleted scenes that are plausible, the simple fact it was deleted means it didn’t actually have to happen.
They wrote a scene, storyboarded it, and filmed it, but they cut it so they could introduce it differently later on. :)
This scene took place most likely right before the snap.
Probably the better way to introduce Professor Hulk compared to him dabbing hard on his fans.
It just doesn't make sense for Hulk to suddenly work things out with Bruce at the end of Infinity War... compared to spending around 5 years to make this feat possible.
Still would've preferred seeing the transformation on screen... I also would've preferred to have Banner from Avengers 1 back instead this dabbing, cardigan-wearing, giant, green Mark Ruffalo.
@@lizzigilmore5813 well if they ever make a new Hulk movie, they could show how he managed to transform to professor hulk at the opening scenes. Then a few montages would be displayed leading up to him snapping the blipped back to life. Then the real story will pick up about his life a while after endgame.
The plot could be how the infinity stones fucked up his cells further than the gamma rays. The symptoms can be the coming back of the split personalities and he'll spent maybe the second quarter of the film trying to fix himself in his own lab, then Stark and finally resorting to Wakanda. I believe this was cut because it didn't tonal fit the rest of the ending, what if Thanos winning. Because of that, the exposition scene you mention was written in to explain the Professor Hulk character.

For one it really defeats the purpose of having lasting stakes and consequences if no one ever stays dead. Really my problem with Loki he "died" in every film but Avengers? What's the point of having villains who do world/universe ending things if it all just goes back to before? Gamora came from the other reality but "our" Gamora is dead still, and yeah it'd be dumb to take a Widow/Stark from another time just to have 1 in ours in affect the same thing happens in their time they'd be considered dead.
That's why these movies suck, they aren't supposed to be taken very seriously, they aren't cinema-like and is more of just dumb-fun movies. I enjoy these movies but there are alot of things that are outright ridiculous
