Question, how were you able to do the weapon animations within a level where you didn't pick up a specific gun? For example, you did the weapon animation for the chaingun on both Hell on Earth and Cultist Base, but you can only get that animation on Super Gore Nest.

Yeah same here. I missed out on series 3 because I didn’t really like the pain elemental skin but now I really regret it. And I also missed series 1 because I didn’t have the game then so that also depresses me ;-;
I mean I’m still going to use diabolic because a plain blood red skin is just cool and I’m still gonna use the nerf gun skin for the heavy cannon because it’s colorful but I just want them because I collect weapon skins.
No for me he should not put back the skins of past events, because it shows your loyalty to the game and if you are an active player ... I have the game in collector's edition and I started playing it. From series 6, I therefore missed a lot of skins but I consider that it would be unfair to those who were there during the events and who played at this precise moment of the game
@@TheDOOMTitoune I pre-ordered it and played it since launch, the reason I missed so many skins was because of my Xbox breaking in May 2020, but when I bought a new one in September 2020, The Ancient Gods Part 1 DLC came out. By that time I've already missed 3 seasons, but then I went from console to PC which completely reset my season progress. Now I'm waiting for an opportunity to get them back, just to be greeted by someone who thinks I'm a disloyal player because of my console.

Yeah I get that. I have a Switch (my pc can’t run this thing) and the game launched just recently so I missed a lot of really cool skins

It is earned by completing the TAG DLC 1 on Extra Life Mode. I will be including that in the next weapon showcase video, along with any new Event skins.

Man, I love the Makyr stuff and I'm pissed that I missed the Makyr shotgun. Hope they do some sorta of thing in which you can get these again possibly. Or like we could buy them at some point.
You can get the maykr stuff by completing both mastery levels of a gun
It works with a mastery token too

the fact that you used bfg division for the bfg skins is so perfect.
Pursuit of happiness rocket launcher and diabolic super shotgun are my two biggest regrets on missing. I do love the Lux skin on the SSG, but that red and black on the SSG just looks SOOO good. Especially because those are my favorite colors.

The video uploader used a specific command to force the animations played when the weapon is picked up for the first time.

Damn some of the old skins are awesome. I play this game on Switch (my pc can’t run this 🤣) and we’re a little bit behind on a lot of the skins. Hope we can get a 2nd chance to get them 👌🏻
Even know Christmas is in 8 months. I will use the gift shotgun all year.
I hope they give us people's who missed the events a chance to get them again by reactivating the events.

I have a milestone bug that prevents me from getting some of theses, it's a known yet not fixed issue

Damnit, I should’ve been more tuned in for seasons 3 and 4, they had good weapon skins for the Super Shotgun and the Chaingun. But, since The Ancient Gods 2 has gold weapon skins for completing it on Nightmare, I’m not so worried.

I spotted an error in the Astro skin for BFG. You receive it for killing 150 enemies with BFG, and it's the Campaign milestone.

Really wish I was good enough at the game to get the gold skin. It’s not that I want to flex it (like if I had the ultra nightmare dlc skin or the ultra nightmare campaign skins) I wouldn’t use them because I don’t like how they look but I want the shotgun skin because I collect weapon skins so it depresses me that I’ll never be able to get it cause I’m on console.
Bro, I beat the base game and the dlc UN on Xbox. Totally possible, recommend to watch speedruns (Frosty, byte me) are my type of play style and Reddit for BFG and chainsaw routing

The Lux skin was the Event Series 3 reward. So it is not available anymore, unless the devs change it sometime in the future.

Yeah i've beaten the ancient gods dlc on UN (video is on my channel) and Super Gore Nest Master Level on UN as well.
I haven't done the base campaign because it's fairly lengthy.

Arguable. I'll say this once as i dont like to keep repeating myself. I've even put a "Twitch prime skins not included" disclaimer at the very top of the description box but somehow it keeps getting missed.
I don't include Twitch Prime skins as they're locked behind a paywall as a form of promotion... for a mostly single player game.
They were also limited time and currently there are no plans (as far as i know) to bring those skins back into the game where players can earn it.
Keyword being *EARN* by simply playing the game. Because *every* . *other* . *skin* in the video was/is earned by playing the game (except the classic shotgun which was a preorder bonus. But it is still purchasable in the "Rip and Tear" pack.

I got the Classic Shotgun skin by pre-ordering the game. It was already included within the cost of the game that i was going to buy anyway. I didn't have to spend any additional money.
I would've preferred If it was earned in-game instead of as a pre-order bonus or as a microtransaction but at the very least people can still buy the "Rip and Tear" pack to get the classic skins at any time. It is NOT LIMITED TIME.
Twitch Prime Skins WERE time limited. It is a service that i wasn't using throughout the various Twitch Prime exclusive skins that came out. I still don't use that service.
If i had them, I would have Twitch Prime skins in a completely separate video as their acquisition is not within Doom Eternal's ecosystem. i.e You have to pay a different company for it.

The only ones I unintentionally missed were the season 3 skins. They are literally the coolest ones and I missed it because I didn't have a look at the events while it was available. I'm still salty.

No one agress with me but doom eternal is the best one in the franchise. 1. There's doom 1,2 and 64 on there. There's so many skins and lore to unlock. Toys, secrets, missions,cheat codes, weapon mastery, suit points just everything this is so good. There's so much to do even when uve 100% its which is what i like a lot. So much replay value and a lot of updates.

@Anihilis Nope. Once you execute the command, the animation will start playing. You can still move and jump around while the animation is playing out. You can cancel it by switching to another weapon.

I believe you have to get all the Codex entries in a single save slot in the DLC for the Sigil skin.

The Makyr one was in a series, I think you might have missed it.
For combat max out the abilities and completely master it this goes the same for almost every single weapon except weopons that have blue or green in them if they do not have blue or green that’s glowing on them they will always be maykr skins and the others like plasma rifle, bfg and chain gun will have Astro skin @randomcat you can not get the praetor skins anymore as this was in a series a while back when the game released

It’s the other way round. Praetor is you max out everything and Makyr is the series.
You can't get them if you missed them, can you?
