I once attended a concert in which a theorbo was played (Purcell's Dodi & Aeneas). I asked about it after the show & the player handed it to me. Impressively light weight. This one appears to be longer than I am tall! What a sound. Thank you for another performance worthy to be heard again.

Спасибо! Откуда привет!? Сольник запишу обязательно. After 20 years of opera continuo one needs to reestablish a delicate bond with theorbo, which gradually is gaining ground. Once it happens, i will make the CD of de Visee:)

Really nice playing. Do you use strings for all strings ? If yes what brand do you use ? Aquila ? Kurschner ? Thanks !
1,,3,4- nylon rectified 2- pvf 5678 - silverplated pyramid overspan, long basses 9-14 - plain gut from Aquila. All strings 4,5 kg. a=415. Frets start from 1,1mm to 0,85 or so.
