- We have had our BikeReview long term Benelli Leoncino 500 in Steel Grey for just on 5 months now. In that time Jeff has covered around 3,500km using the bike as a daily rider and his main transport for the past month of that 5 months. The bike has not missed a beat and Jeff is really impressed with it. Here is a vid with a good update on the bike so far and what it has been like to live with it. Thanks for watching and check out bikereview.com.au for more on the Long Term Benelli Leoncino.

An interesting bike. I like the design. Will try to find one for a ride. :) Got my like bro. Keep going.
Thanks a lot mate was looking for a long term use video just found you in 2020. Great honest review. Booked my Leoncino...hoping to be smiling like you soon
Thanks for the review definitely helpful with my decision on this bike
For any everyday rider the exhaust scraping wouldn't be a problem as we don't lean far enough to scrape the pegs anyway .
I agree Jeff, the Leoncino is a great bike. loved the test ride when i had a demo day in Melbourne. Benelli's new 700cc + version will be great.
Only if it sounds as good as the 500
I have had my Leonchino as my daily for about 4 months now and the best thing I did was delete the cat. instantly changed the bikes presence. I will say its a tad loud for my liking but absolutely worth it! I'm not sure if you have noticed it but the accelerator can be a but jumpy at low rpm and speeds but that may be because mine needs lubricating. Great review update!
My next Benelli. Beautiful Plenty Presence that's a bike
I have done quite a few miles on a leoncino. Babysitting it while the owner is locked down in the Netherlands. Lovely bike, torquey for a 500 but loves to rev. Spent a lot of time in the mountains of northern Thailand. I don't want to give it back. I normally ride a Kawasaki ER6N which I profer but the Benelli is hard to beat considering value for money.
Another superb 👍🏻interview
Hi 😊
Do you still have the leoncino 500?
Is it going nice?
Is getting rusty easily?
I am planning to buy one. I live in Denmark and it's raining a lot. Do you think that will get really rusty here?
I'm planning to get this bike in a few month or so.
What's the cruising speed like? And how's the vibration while cruising? Any hand numbing feel?
Interesting that little plate on the right side is upside-down like on mine
I’m looking on buying these motorbike. Can you tell how how reliable is the brand? Is it worthy? Why we see CFMoto as Chinese bad and Benelli as Chinese good?
They are totally reliable.
i've yet to see anyone without bias against Chinese goods see cf as bad, they make some great bikes and have a partnership with KTM. Honestly all i can think of is a lot of people are ignorant to the fact Benelli are now chines so see the bike for what it is.
Nice video sir..according to some reviewers this bike pulls like it's bigger than 500cc.. do u agree?
Well said. It jumps on back ..not good
ANYMORE UPDATES SINCE PLEASE
I HAVE 6000 mine.. only issues i have are a judder at around 4000-4500 RPM and my engine light turns on about every 1000 because of th O2 sensor
any one have these?
No worries replaced O2 sensor f1 warning and on the 3rd oil sensor I finally got rid of engine warning all under warranty Raceway Motorcycles no problem Benelli are reliable I have 3 600[35k] &1130 want Leoncino yes and I give them all a thrashing 92deg Max even on a 36 deg day (city) Parked 3mths Batts start there's no need to pay extra $
Hello, i am looking to buy one of these , maybe this weekend second hand with low kms 2019 model ... i know is a chinese bike i am upgrading from a cheap 250cc ...
It isn't heavy. 207 kg wet and fuelled. The Trail version has got more ground clearance.
that can't be right, because the bike weights 170 kg dry, so it's impossible for the bike to increase as much as 30 kg when in running condition. It should weight 184 or so when wet, but not even close to 200.
@@Velosirraton they updated the specs on the website, it weighs 184kg dry. 170kg dry is a bit of a stretch no? Just look at it
@@Velosirraton It would do if they included petrol.
Have you had any mechanical or electrical issues with this bike
Nothing at all and we rode it hard for a year. It was great...
Hello there, just wanted to knownif these have quick shifters or slipper clutch?
Also saw u driving through some nice roads, where is the location?
Sydney areas in Australia
Is this bike too small for a 1,88m man?
The Trail version is a bit taller and perfect for that height. You might want to consider that if you're afraid about being too tall. I'm 188 and I ride Trail. It fits like a glove :)
Hmm, how tall are you? :)
why the horrid noise you probably call music. tell me things, inform me, facts and opinions don't bother assaulting my ears if I want music I have 500 lp's 1000cd's and1.5 gigabytes of music files
wow, your attention span is exactly 25 sec
