Great work, here in New Zealand we call them Kahawai. These are a great eating table fish. They are one of the most underrated fish but put up a mean fight. They are fantastic when smoked too. The ones I have been catching are 3kg (6.6lb)

Nice work mate. Subbed. I always drive straight past Dunsborough & head between the capes myself. I'm highly allergic to crowds though.
Quick tip for you: Thread a swivel onto the split ring then use a uni knot to tie to the swivel. Uni knot is stronger & by using the swivel you will still get the increased action in the lure while eliminating the chance of the line working it's way through the ring or being damaged on the sharp edge of the ring. That's my preference though, not necessarily what everyone else wants to do.

I prefer the savage gear lure over the halco. Just casts better.
