I wasn't sure if i liked this song at first. I liked the second part bc it's upbeat and i liked the rythm and melody but the first part was too slow.
I kept it on my playlist and the slow part started growing on me. The change is pretty cool. Then i checked out the lyrics and that made the song so much more awesome.
There's a sense of being sucked into darkness and overwhelmed by it. Giving in and giving up the fight over it. Sunset. Pretty epic to be honest.
The awards are the love of all these people, happiness for leaving a mark with this beautiful music. I look forward to the rest of the album!!!

Gus is kind of a modern-day Bowie or Peter Gabriel. Like them he’s creating his own world within pop music. His whole catalog is ahead of its time, but this song in particular pulls way out in front. Generally speaking, I don’t fanboy music-there’s simply too much out there to experience; but Gus is someone I always come back to.

Okay, at first I was having difficulty understanding the direction of the song while the stage was being setup, and I was pleasantly surprised to see where it went as the spotlights took aim.
