Just the looks of it I would have guessed 725 horse and the price being around $25K It wont sell, real engine builders are offering way more for way less depending on price. If it passes Smog/Emissions in CA it will sell like pancakes on a Sunday morning.

A 9.3 litre engine should make a minimum of 930hp, any engine should be capable of making 100hp/litre as a minimum. This thing barely makes over 50hp/litre because its designers were incompetent.
One thing I can think of is that it will give you 500 hp RELIABLY without it losing power after you do a few runs compared to a 383. I know mine does that but after a few runs and heat soak I have to wait for it to cool down. This is more like a tap of the pedal and you’ll always have 500hp

I'm a Chevy guy, but i'm curious: why buy an expensive COPO 572 with 500hp instead of a cheap iron block LS and turbocharger it to the moon? why don't a ZZ632 instead of this engine?

One runs on pump gas the other on racing gas. Racing gas engine makes 100 Horsepower more. Merry Christmas
