- ESPN and Fox sports have had some of the most blasphemous personalities on air, and they have said some truly wrong things! We've all been wrong before, but to be THIS WRONG IS SACRILEGIOUS!! These are some of the worst sports takes of all time and this of course will not be limited to one video should people want more! Max Kellerman and Skip Bayless are the blasphemers of the day.

I honestly understand thinking Hakeem, and even Walton. Both were generational players that, in Walton’s case when he was healthy, he transformed that Trail Blazers team from merely good to a world-beater. But even if you value Olajuwon and Walton higher than Curry, you still have to have Curry ahead of the rest of the names I heard (and Harden). We are talking players that not only take over games, but also become the focal point of systems that are a problem for the league. These have to be players that single-handedly elevate a team to the Finals threat. That ain’t Karl Malone. That ain’t James Harden. That ain’t David Robinson (though he was closer to being that than the other two).
At this point, it’s safe to say that Bayless exists to troll for pay, and always has. He operates on the “there’s no such thing as bad press” mentality, and has weaponized angry hate clicks and views for personal gain.
And another comment here states how impressive it is that LeBron has never taken the bait. So, so true. Skip Bayless can count his money, knowing his rage takes made him wealthy and well known, but LeBron James complete disregard of his existence says it all. Well said there.

The only one I don't blame Skip for too much was Johnny Manziel. The hype around Johnny in Cleveland was unreal and Lebron had not yet announced he was going back to Cleveland the following year until after the NFL draft that year. As they say hindsight is 20/20, but people were hailing Johnny as the 2nd coming of Christ for football. They were literally calling him Johnny Football. In some alternate universe where Johnny lived up to the hype and was a HOF QB who won the Browns a few rings (like many thought he was going to do) and at the same time Lebron fails to win it all with the Cavs, or doesn't even go back to Cleveland to begin with, I could see why Skip as stupid as it sounds now, might say that. He certainly wasn't the only one high on the Manziel hype.
Yup johnny has become a bit of a mean but if you watched him in college the raw tools were their for him to be an elite QB the problem was johnny didn't work nowhere near hard enough to maximize his abilities which is basically a must for any undersized QB and to be completely honest he probably didn't work all that hard in college but he had so much natural talent and ability he was able for the most part to get away with it

The 10 games leading up to when MJ tore his knee that first year on the Wizards he was averaging 29ppg 6apg 5rpg and had a 19 win team on pace to win at least 47 games and competing for the 1 seed in the Eastern Conference as a 38yr old. He was already draining black sludge from his knees in the locker room b4 games so tearing ligaments pretty much sealed the end of his career even tho he still played 14 games before shutting it down for the season and played 82 games the next season but, MJ’s time in the Wizard never gets proper context

Jordan was better on offense, significantly better on defense and also significantly better as a closer and in the postseason. Talking about the competition they both faced has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with their actual skills and neither player had any control over who they competed against or what rules they played under. Jordan was literally better at everything.
