stampycatfan01 Yes, you are right. Schindler 3300 is VERY futuristic-looking and comes straight from Lucerne, Switzerland. This is why they are not compliant in California. I did get to film one 3300 in the Shops at Nanuet in New York but it was smooth, yet too slow.
Holy crap. This beats out the Shitler at the Dick's Sporting Goods near me. And that was the worst elevator I had ever been on. Missing emblem, plenty of vandalism, crappy door like this one. Motor was in slightly better shape though. On the bright side, epic win for getting a key to the controls. I've always wanted to see in that box so many thanks :)
I actually rode a 400A, in fact, two. Those were really good!
Weird how the hydro elevators, the floor counter is a floor ahead, yet with the tractions, are a floor behind.
The ONLY good part about Schindler with 3'rd party fixtures is, Door Close usually works.

Andrew, I hate to say it but that had the low-pitched chimes. It was... UPGRADED! (Duh Duh Duh Duh!)
Vator Hunters I've noticed that on newer 330A installs, if I hit the door close button, it will close within no more than 5 seconds later. On 300A and older installs, it takes up to 10 seconds at times to close after pressing the door close button.
@TheElevatorChannel we still dont need people calling someone names and a know it all, and never any swear words, remember there is a variety of viewers from all different ages, some people do not need to see or hear those words, and people shouldnt be insulting someone just because they dont know something.
The owners of this hotel, the Anderson's, are not new to hotels. They owned many before they built this one. Why do they keep buying Shindler's elevators if they dislike them?

I'm with you totally!!! I LOVE DOVER!!! They ARE the BEST and that's a fact!!! I always make fun of Schindler since door close never works and they are so slow but 500A and 3300 is AWESOME.
Traction151 I only like the HT and the MT. The 3300 is too European.
In a video by CZcams user "Lormarina" a technician riding with him on a new Schindler Ht (not sure of # model) told him that the door close may not work on some elevators but it shortens the door timer to three seconds
@dieselducy He yelled @ me because I did not know his camera has fish-eye and I asked why the fixtures look wierd.
that creaking cab is not good. door rollers could use some oil. good fixtures and walls.
It might be a 321A according to the stainless steel door plate side (instead of black) and older brailles.

Schindler elevators suck, they may make some cheap elevators but once I met some very nice Schindler techs working on an elevator and they gave me an old elevator part. So I wont be too hard on them.
