      Thank you! Will be making a bunch more. Wanted to this last summer but we got hit with a fire ban and a shore lunch didn't seem the same if you couldn't cook it over a fire!

    Nicely done! I probably follow about 95% of what you showed, when I cook my own Ontario shore lunches each summer. I do need to get one of those fry slicers, and soaking the potatoes overnight is a great tip I would not have thought of. Good to see young guides showing the kind of enthusiasm you do--thanks for the tips and for the entertainment!

    Dude!! Way to bury the lead. I want that plywood table you have on the tree. I fish the BWCA all the time and have to use my paddle or a rock for a table. I do bring a cutting board but trying to find a rock or something the right height is impossible. What’s your set up for the plywood table.

    • @darylgilbertoutdoors
      @darylgilbertoutdoors  Před rokem +1

      It’s just a small piece of plywood and a few 2X2 or even tree branches for supports. Takes 2 minutes to install and if you use the tree branches for supports there’s less un natural stuff to look at.

    Stop trying to save belly meat and you will not have pin bones. You loose more meat doing that.
