Tom Glynn-Carney gave it his all in this episode and he did really good.

the fact that aemond has to find comfort with a prostitute instead of his mother really says something about alicent’s parenting.
True that, Allicent is an awful parent to her children, i mean she dosen’t even know how to comfort them.
I'm glad that this season is making Aegon II more likeable. I feel immense sympathy for him, as he didn't expect or want to be King and tried to run away rather than take the crown. However, he clearly loved his son and tried to make him take part in his Small Council(as Viserys never did the same for him). Tom Carney does an amazing job showing his vulnerability at the end of the episode and his sheer heartbreak as he refuses to make his son a martyr.
They try to make me feel bad for Cheese(the two assassin's were Blood(the Gold Cloak)and Cheese)by having the dog whimper, but I remember his sheer glee at having Helaena at knife point. And he was the one who held Jaehaerys down. I don't feel sympathy, nor do I feel too bad about Aegons methods just yet....
The argument between Rhaenyra and Daemon and the scene with Otto and Aegon are the standouts of this episode. Glad the line from the book was kept with "My new Hand is a steel fist."
Yeah, I'm still unsure who died first. Whether Arryk(the assassin)killed his brother and then begged forgiveness for nearly killing her before taking his life or Erryk(the protector)killing him and then falling on his sword out of love for his brother and regret for being a kinslayer.
I love this interesting detail about Aemond finding comfort in an embrace with a prostitute whith red curly hair, like his mother's hair. And the way he curled up in her arms, like a small child in his mother's cuddles... The fact that they brought him hot milk instead of wine.
I do realy hate Alicent for what she had done with her children. I spent the entire episode waiting for her to hug at least one of her children and comfort him/her. But no. Each of her children tries to earn the love they did not receive from their mother. Even Cersei, who was a selfish bitch, was a better mother than Alicent.

Or maybe Aegon becomes so out of control he becomes MAD, himself with rage and war, now i know this is set before The Mad King but could be the first to become Insaning that would be cool if they did, cause he is already losing the plot of his kingdom and declaring war so maybe he becomes so obsessed with war that it he ultimately becomes MAD himself that oiled be something.
Also love out of control King by the way i think it is so hilarious and funny, and he is techinally that an out of control King and i just love that so much.
"When you play the game of thrones, you win, or you die." Daemon is the only one who understands that.
You all miss the point that Daemon wants war.
They're dumb.

no, that was not the best parenting from otto. he went running straightaway to his daughter so he could unburden his grievances on her, but the moment alicent wanted to unburden herself, otto didn't want to hear it. so her side-stepping the opportunity to comfort her own son aegon demonstrated the cascading failure of parenting of the hightowers. alicent accepted ser criston back into her boudoir because the only person to whom it would have mattered -- her father -- didn't care.
While you have a point about the commeners point the twins aren't commoners they are minor Noble's just like cole.

Is it weird that I didn't feel disgusted by the sight of Jahaerys's head being sewed to his body? They could've masked the stitches with some wax, but seeing the corpse is the whole point. Otto and the others wanted to show without any tricks "Here's a dead child. Look at what Rhaenyra did". Have to demonstrate the child. And, when the cart stopped, is it weird that instead of thinking "omg, a corpse is going to fall" I thought "omg Helaena is going to freak out"? And she did. Of course she would, confined to a tight space and surrounded by a large, loud crowd chanting at her face. That's a classic panic attack in the making. In one of the trailers there is a shot of Helaena and Alicent sprinting towards the door of a house out on the street in what looks like the same costumes, so I'm wondering if this scene was cut short and Helaena actually got off the cart and ran away in terror.
Rhaenyra can't win shit without Daemon, she married him literally to have power and influence that he provides. She needs him more than he needs her. Yes, he has weakened her claim, but that fear he instills has also made them look dangerous that no one can defy. He is literally on his way to take harrenhal in her name. Also, to say he is not loyal toward Rhaenyra is utter fallacy.

I agree 100% with Clariss About Ser Criston Cole, i don’t care what people think, but Ser Criston Cole is a B**** and he is like giving the faults and blaming someone else, he should of been on patrol not F******* with Allicent thankyou very much, it’s he’s fault that child was killed, he should of been at the door protecting the young prince not being in bed with Allicent, i mean i know he feels bad about and YES he should cause it’s he’s fault and he’s hatred of Rhaenyra is like not necessary i mean Rhaenyra was a princess and a royal so she couldn’t choose who to be with she was forced to do that, and sure they had that scene in Season 1 where there was something going on there but never got anywhere it seemed.
I mean i think the only reason why he is F****** Allicent is because to make Rhaenyra jealous which i am not sure how that implies specifically cause it’s not about that, he’s like oh I will just F*** Allicent and let’s see how Rhaenyra feels first of all Rhaenyra has moved on and dosen’t care about you at all, so let it go man, she did what she as a royal to produce an heir and she did it’s not her fault alright she was forced into marrying someone that she didn’t want, she even said it herself to Laenor herself saying will do it as a duty but that dosen’t we have to act on it basically and they didn’t so.
I still cannot believe Aegon made Ser Criston Cole his hand and firing Otto, i mean that is a disaster as you can see and obviously Allicent is not going to do anything about it cause she is F******* Ser Criston Cole, so she isn’t going to Stand up for herself and say this is wrong or anything i think she is gonna try and fail miserably. You can kind of see already that this might be there downfall and that is not good.
