  • Artemis 1 SLS Launch from Banana Creek viewing bleachers as captured by a GoPro 7 mounted to the chain link fence at the top of the bleachers. When the sound hits you can see the GoPro start vibrating - and that is exactly what if felt like to be there for the launch. First night turned to day, then quiet to loudness and the stillness to having the entire bleachers vibrating to the tune of mankind returning to the Moon. Quite a moving experience!

Glad you liked it. I also loved how the GoPro, mounted to the chain link fence, started shaking when the shock waves and sound hit. It captured the feeling I had when the bleachers actually started vibrating underfoot. Quite amazing!

Amazing how old Space Shuttle engines can be used to launch modern rockets. Slap on a couple solid boosters and good to go.

Why are we using old technology like Space Shuttle engines? I would think after all of these years we would have come up with new types of engines not something that's been around since the late 70's.
